grrrrr i got this problem , i put in the wrong year on the dragon age 2 website , now it wont let me in , so i closed the site , then whent though googel back into it , and found its still locked , so i restarted by pc , did the same agein and still found its locked , so i waited 3 days befor i whent back in to see if the site is unlocked to me , AND ITS STILL LOCKED!! whats going on and how do i fix this? im 24 , so defernatly over 18 , just a mistake.

No worries, I was having the same problem too. I kept registering for the newsletter on the main page of the DA2 site, but it never seemed to work, until...

I went to the "Staff of Parthalan" page: http://dragonage.bioware.com/da2/info/parthalan/

On that page click the link that says "Click Here" to claim the staff, and it'll redirect you to a page where you can log into your EA account to subscribe to the DA2 newsletter. It's okay if you've already subscribed to it, just do it again. Afterwards, you can find your registered in-game bonus items if you sign into your EA account on this website and go to Profile > Your registered game content.

After you've subscribed again to the newsletter via the link above, the PS3 version for the Staff of Parthalan (if you haven't gotten it already) should unlock. I can confirm that it did for me just now. If it doesn't for you, then, well...I have no idea what's wrong.

Hope this helps anyone having this issue.

how do i get staff of parthalan, no code appears in profile

I was ready to order this game, but I put down my details for the Staff of Partharlan (sic?) and was messed around continously. Because of that I decided not to bother (pre-ordering) at all. I'm pleased that it got sorted out, but I can imagine there are more then a few who did the same as me after getting messed around.

With that in mind I can tell you I will not purchase the game at all. At the time it was made clear if you didn't get the code you wouldnt get it (the staff) at all. Because of that I decided not to pre-order (I cannot be the only person who has a serious dislike of being messed around), and have missed out on other exclusive items because of it.

Your customer support at the time was an embarassment, The result of which is quite simply that i won't bother with your games again.

The staff is awesome, but you guy's from bioware must do a fix
to make the staff level up when hawke level's too, like the ferelden sword.

Just my opinion but i think everyone will wish the same.

Try clearing your internet history/cache/cookies and visiting the website again.

The "entitlement" page is actually the "Your registered game content" page which can be found on the left hand side of this page if you look at the links shown under your profile picture. Go to [Profile] > [Your registered game content] or you can simply visit:

I was disapointed  at how bad the end game staff looks compared to parlathan. I wish they would do something about it

 im interested if anyone else has had the same bug as me, i signed up for the staff last summer, got the code no problem, then when i redemed said code i only received the staff for PC and XBOX versions, not the PS3 version which of course im playing on my ps3. Im on the second playthrough and still no staff. Anyone else having this issue or ha ve any ideas how to fix this:whistle:

I have a problem. the staff and belt are in my list of registered game promotions and is linked to my psn but is not unlocked in game or on the extras menu. any help would be appreciated.

seriously, give the staff the level up stat as well like the fadeshear.. that staff is the best looking in the whole game,and is only good until you reach level 14. you start finding staffs with 50+ magic attack. i love that staff,but i refuse to run around doing like 30 damage on a level 30 enemy.

why are people still asking about the damn code? it's been covered what seems like a million times already in the 27 pages, it's been asked/answered so many time you don't even have to read all 27 pages for the answer just need to look through a few of them at most.

uchantra(and others who've redeemed a code and not recieving the staff for the ps3) have you tried signing upto the newsletter on http://dragonage.bio...info/parthalan/ (choose the 'click here' rather than 'redeem code') to see if that adds the ps3 entitlement?

Staff of Parlathan is nice through early-to-mid Act 1 ... which is a shame, as I really wanted to do the Act 2 finale with it. It really ought to scale with level like Fadeshear ... though I suppose that would make it a bit too awesome.
