I ihave 7gb free on all my drives - so wasn't that
update always tried to download from vnfiles.ign.com

But subsequent retries it downloaded from server downloads.atari.com - THIS ONE WORKED.
Unfortunately the other patch downloads (and there's a few) failed again.


unable to find any config files that forced the download from a specific server - I deceided to add vnfiles.ign.com to my firewall's blocked site list

Now all downloads come from the working server - and all is now well

Just thought I'd add this for anybody else getting failed patch downloads.

Wow - They finally fixed power-attack always coming on automatically

I think now - (after how many years?) - I might even get as far as highcliffe without getting totally p'd off and uninstalling the damn thing.

7 GB is not enough free disk space... The minimum I recommend having free after installation is 15GB for NWN 2, and 20-25 GB if you have all three (NWN 2, MotB, and SoZ).
