From what I hear the PC version of both games are better than the console versions.

First off the ps3 is getting an inferior game, in the sens ethat it lacks the connectivness of the first game.Secondly I've seen the graphics and the 360 and pc versions retain the more "Mass effecty" look

it is all marketing techniques they want to hype it up further and attract more people onto the PS3 version. I will not be suprised if there is a DLC pack or two coming out after the PS3 launch of mass effect and to maximise profit from mass effect 2 before mass effect 3 takes over

Bioware is a company, and any company wants to earn money, it's reality, can't fight reality. The DLC bonuses is part of the marketing, they don't do it to be asses, they do it to sell the game.

I mean, sure, they're getting the game a year after it originally came out, but I sure do feel neglected. Why can't Bioware just release and horrible port of a year old game without even the most minor of touch-ups? Makes no sense, Bioware. Why have you turned your back on us?

The argument here is remarkably similar the the arguments being made here. Since that thread is stickied and has the producer of the game commenting on it from the very first post, I suggest using that thread if you wish to continue the discussion.

And I remind people again that console wars are not acceptable on these forums. What you think of a particular console and the people who use them is not on-topic.
