As in who did you normally select to go on missions with you? Usually for me it's Jack/Samara/Garrus and Grunt. I always use Grunt. Man is a beast and hardly ever dies. Plus he's a great compliment to my play style(I like ranged combat, he is an upclose combat dude). And the other one depended on the situation. Garrus if I knew I'd be fighting mechs or geth(because of his overload), and then Samara/Jack any other time.

I don't really hate any of them, but I definitely like some more than others, and a few fail to pique my interest at all.

Favest of the Faves: Garrus, Wrex, Legion, Mordin, Samara, and Kasumi.

Dudes that I like but aren't my favorites: Tali, Grunt, Zaeed, Jack, Morinth, Thane, Miranda.

Characters that are just meh: Jacob, Kaishley Willenko, Liara.

Garrus and Wrex went everywhere with me, Mordin and Samara are beasts in the right situations, and Legion and Kasumi are just incredibly useful.

The one that I like are either interesting as characters or have uses in combat that I greatly approve of.

The "meh" ones are just... meh.

I usually always took Garrus and Thane/Zaeed/Legion(long range supremacy)

Legion, Wrex, Liara, Miranda, Mordin, Ashley, Thane, Kaidan and Samara are my favorite characters.

Kaidan, Mordin, Garrus, & Tali. Jack if you don't count the lack of friendship paths and (IMO) a good romance.

ME1: Tali and Garrus for assignments (gotta open those crates!), Wrex and Liara for main missions

ME2: Garrus almost constantly because of his banter, Tali/Kasumi/Legion were all favorites too, though Tali probably got picked the most for ME1 nostalgia reasons

None for ME1, but for ME2 here goes.

1. Zaeed - I just love his accent,
2. Kasumi - I like some of her lines when I bring her to missions and also Shadowstrike.
3. Jack - I love spamming her Shockwave.  Really great when my own vanguard comes with shockwave too.

Legion, Tali, Garrus, Grunt.

Because I get Legion as the game freaking ends... I usually end up just using Garrus Grunt. They are unstoppable. Tali Legion is good for the 3 missions i get to use them on...

Miranda kicks ass on insanity, she just does. Besides her once I got Grunt I mostly used that pair during my first time through. Now? I change it up to whatever I feel like UNLESS there's a certain tough mission that requires the right combination to see it through. Example, the Collector ship at a little more than halfway through the game? Miranda is useful for her shield busting and Grunt is useful because he's a giant meatshield. Sometimes though I'll replace him with another soldier type such as Garrus or Zaeed or (if I want it to be a bit tougher) Jack or Kasumi.

The rest? Meh

ME1? Wrex and Ash/Garrus. Mostly Garrus even though she was my LI at the time.

Anything lower than insanity? I could probably solo through the entire game.

ME2: Samara and Garrus tended to be the ones to work best with me, but I'd use Tali when the situation called for it. I would have liked to use Legion more, but it has bad recruitment timing...

Garrus and Wrex are my all time favourite characters because they are really badass and are really good in a fight. But I do like all the other squadmates as well, EXCEPT Ashley..

Garrus-long distance combatant, tech skills compensate for Vanguard character's weakness
Thane-warp bombs, vicious with a mantis rifle
How can I forget Kasumi for punching a mech to death with her shadow strike?
Zaeed-only teammate with disruptor ammo!
Samara-balanced, great with my Shepard for a double reave hit

My combat favorites are either Jack and Grunt or Garrus and Tali.

My character favorites are Garrus, Tali, Mordin and Jack. I also like Kasumi and Legion. Everyone else just doesn't really appeal, though Miranda and Zeead are the only ones I actively dislike.

My favorite squadmate both in and out of combat is Miranda. Guess I got lucky with her being the most effective teammate in the battlefield.

lets see. in ME1, i used tali and garrus a LOT, moreso than the rest of the squadmates combined.



in ME2, it was a little different. i still fall back on tali and garrus a bit, but not as much as i did in the first game. i use samara a LOT in ME2, and on the suicide mission, i usually go with legion and samara the whole way through, with great success. but, my squad composition gets shuffled around throughout the game depending on the mission at hand.



in hindisght, it'd just be easier to say that in ME2, jack, mordin, grunt, thane, jacob and zaeed see little use outside of their respective loyalty missions.

Depends on what difficulty level and what class I played.
On insane Kasumi & Grunt when I was a Vanguard.
When I played a biotic god, I mostly had Miranda, Thane and Samara with me.

In easier difficulty levels I often took Jack and Jacob with me.

Garrus, Grunt, and Wrex, I used Garrus/Wrex combo through the majority of ME1 and Garrus and Grunt through the majority of ME2
