Out of all of the love interests, who is your favorites and how would you rank them?

For me (I have only played as male Shepards) my favorites would be ranked like this:

1. Liara
2. Miranda
3. Tali/Ashley (tie)

Never done Jack as a romance just cuz I'm not into that sort of thing but anyways...how about you guys?

OKAY WITH: Thane and Kaidan
DON'T LIKE: Jacob (points for hilarity, though) and Liara sans LotSB

And for the MenSheps...

OKAY WITH: Tali and Miranda
DON'T LIKE: Ashley (the poetry killed it for me) and Liara sans LotSB

I like almost all the romances equally, except for Jacob and Ashley. Jacob is just meh, and the Ashley romance to me seemed a bit out of place, I don't know. I never clicked to well with that romance. As for my absolute favorite? For male Shep, I would go with Liara barely over Miranda, and for female Shep, I would say Kaidan over Garrus, but once again barely. They are all very close except the two mentioned above.

For male Shep, Liara>Miranda>Tali=Jack=Ashley
For female Shep, Kaidan>Garrus=Liara>Thane>Jacob

First love, true love sort of a deal going on here. I liked her, tough, had a sense of humor, beautiful.... I don't know if I would ever want to date her in real life (I feel I am not quite soldier material) but as a love interest for Shepard, she was great.



Also, even though I never went for a second LI if I had been going to pick one, Jack. Because her romance scene was just so moving.

Ok with: Liara, Ashley

Don't like: Tali (sorry her romance is cute but she just comes across as too young and fangirlish to me), Miranda (paragon)

Honorable mentions are Jack, Tali, and Kaidan. Liara is a great love interest as well, but since she can be romanced by both, I excluded her for this comparison.

So far Tali is the best one. Aside from being a Tali-fan, it was also the most developed spanning 2. I wouldn't know about Garrus though, since I have yet to romanced him.

1) Garrus, you can really read into it and it has many layers to it. It shows a deep trust, and the awkwardness is just heart-warming. Also, the dialogue was very real for shep and Garrus.

2) Tali, again with the awkwardness, and the camera angling of it was done brilliantly.

3) Thane, only a bit lower down because I felt sorry for him. The scene was brilliant and had so much emotion, but I can't help but wonder if falling in love with him when he has a fatal illness is bad for him?

4) Jack, because we saw a whole new side to her character.

5) Liara with the shadow broker. ME1 just seemed like fanservice, she didn't have much personality or depth. Then I met her on Illium in ME2 and was like WOW! She has become a badass!



The others I'm not so bothered about

For FemaleShep :
Liara (with LotSB) > Thane / Kaidan >  Liara (without LotSB) > Garrus > Jacob

Samara could have been an option, with more time for development, it could even have been my favourite one (plus she'd have to get a reasonable dress).
