Are you talking about the giant thread? Because if you are, I've popped in before a couple of times. I'm sure though that my posts were drowned out 3,000 pages before the current page, so I'm not surprised . I don't have anything to contribute to that thread other than an "I support Kaidan" message which one can only make so many times without it being annoying...

Maybe you didn't make it clear that you share Kaidan's traits, lol  
And we are never annoyed by support for Kaidan.............

The fact that he was stumbling all over himself was the biggest selling point for me, actually.  It's a side of him you didn't expect, was absolutely adorable, and reminded me of my actual boyfriend, who is even more herp-derpy when it comes to being romantic.

Maybe that's why people latch on to specific romances: they remind them of people they know, only badass.

You know, now that I come to think of it, my two favorite BioWare romances of Garrus and Alistair both have qualities that remind me an awful lot of my boyfriend.  Tech head like Garrus, snuggly like Alistair, and adorkable like both.  I'm gonna go ahead and not read too much into that, except to say that if we're attracted to certain traits IRL, we'll find those same traits appealing in video games.

I am afraid you can only get very close.

On the one hand, it's reasonable because she is more he wise councellor type, on the other hand, it's a shame, because I do have a soft spot for older women (just usually not THAT much older ).

I don't know. Maybe I made clear of that. Again, whatever I posted was probably overshadowed by other stuff, though its no big deal. Maybe I'll stop by again someday soon. Not sure. Either way, I hope you have a great week, too, even though we've never met. I'm so drunk right now so pardon me if any of this doesn't make sense.

She has absolutely no competition. She stands toe-to-toe with Shepard, complements him perfectly professionally. Does her best to bring her battered sense of trust into the relationship despite the fact that trust doesn't come easy for her. This strange mixture of knowing what she wants, but also knowing that it's new and dangerous territory, empowerment and vulnerability clashing and reconciling, is just sublime.

She's the only reason why I haven't been able to play a femshep.

I agree.  Miranda seems so much more developed and equal to Shepard. She is so different from Ashley.  My Maleshep romanced Ashley but felt more drawn and equal to Miranda.  

Liara comes a close second. I always liked her shyness in ME1... I could relate to that on a certain level.  She definately improved with with LOTSB, had to go back and replay to romance her.

MaleShep:
1. Miranda
2. Liara
3.  Toss up between Ash or Tali.  Ash, needs more development or a DLC...  Tali seems like a best friend at most...  She has grown some but not like the first two women on the list.

FemShep:
1. Garrus is funny. I like him.
2. Thane is cool too.
