So I had planned on making Lelianna the object of my affections on my currently playthrough, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I started romancing Morrigan at first and got her to point of kissing. Now, Morrigan's approval is general hovering in the 20's or 30's, since she frequently disagrees with me but I spam her with gifts. Lelianna, on the other hand, has an apporval of like 60 something for me yet I don't get anywhere with her. All she wants to do is tell stories.

I thought maybe I needed to "break up" with Morrigan, but when I try to "discuss us", I have no dialouge options at all save "Nevermind".

Any advice on how to get Lelianna to open up? Is it cause I never bring her along anymore?

Lianna has a bug that if you progress too quickly you miss a vital dialog. Though I don't think you are at that point yet.



What happens when you talk to her? has the fact she is a bard come up?

I may have, at that. I have listened to all of her stories and learned about her past in Orlais and talked about being a bard, she unlocked the specialization for me. Now, all I can do is kick her out or ask what stories she has to tell, all of which I've heard before.

Y'know, I understand the point of spoilers and all that. But jesus, if you don't want spoilers, maybe stay off message boards! Like, who is honestly getting upset about spoilers while they are reading a message board dedicated to the game? It's bound to happen!

I had the romance continue through a random encounter with Leliana in the party. Although I think that only happens when Leliana mentions her true reason she came to Ferelden in the first place at camp.

I'm afraid this is what happened to me.

She hasn't had anything new to say even after finishing getting the last two alliances for the main quest.

I've had the bard conversation and done her quest but all she does is tell stories.

I think I'm almost at the end of the game too.

Come to think of it, the only people who have had anything new to say at all is Wynne and Ohgren.

Oh, and Leliana is at +100.

There is a really specific order for things to do in order to romance Leiliana...

I had no idea about the bug, and I thought I progressed pretty quickly with her. I guess I got lucky.

Except I can't post in the spoiler forum because it rejects my registration. Also, if "Leliana is a bard" spoiled the game for you, just kill yourself.

Not to mention the spoiler was in a reply, not my original post, so howsabout you not be an idiot yourself and just shut the hell up.

Keep her in your party and travel around with her. A random encounter will lead to her personal quest.

I've had her in my party since I found her, I've done the personal quest.

I'm quite certain I'm near the end of the game (don't want to be specific since this is the general discussion).

Does it sound like I messed up by progressing too fast?

Leliana's not easy. Max out her meter with andraste themed gifts. Odds are that you haven't messed up yet.

Dont see any problem with Leliana or morrigan romanced both by level10 and chose to stay with Leliana.........mo problems in the romance dialogue at all ....make sure you give them the right gifts and not just a bunch of meaningless gifts.........talk to them and see what they like.

Come to think of it, I had a discussion with Alistair about "licking a lamp post in winter."

If she's still listed as 'friendly' you haven't started the romance. If you have already done her personal quest and you still havent been able to get new dialog to start the romance, I think you have missed your chance.

Oh well, good thing I'm going to do multiple playthroughs anyway.

She is pretty tough to get, I'd almost given up...but I got her after romancing both of the others.
