The entire crew was embarrassed by the way FemShep sat:

It took an awkward chat with Liara for her to finally understand what everyone was whispering about:

Hopefully FemShep will remember this conversation going forward.

LOL You had to remind me of that scene? My eyes are still burning.

It just seems crazy how they seem to be able to get it right for other females in the game but not femshep.

I hope it is improved for ME3

TeenZombie's post actually reminds me of something.

A few months back I started a thread showing a comparison between the "sitting on bed" animation from LOTSB, where I posted a picture of MaleShep and FemShep in the same scene. I think it may just be worth it to share them in here.

While this was never present in the main game of ME2, it is still progress. Seems to be one of the things BioWare listen to us about and provided in LOTSB.

I do not need or want a femshep who walks like Miranda, but some improvements on her walk, how she sits and getting rid of the slouch would be much appreciated. Thank you.

To be honest, just give me the animations from ME1 and i'll be happy.

Even if they were the same as ME1 ManShep ( though i'm pretty sure they were different ), they're a far better fit than the ME2 ones.

I second this.

If they're too lazy to make new animations for each gender, they can just bring back the ones from ME1.

I think Lair of the Shadow Broker is evidence that we don't need to worry too much. BioWare tries not to make mistakes, and if they do they try to fix them.

Do anyone have a picture of Femshep sitting where she's wearing any else besides the dress?

Seriously, if we are talking about odd walking animations (as per earlier pages), I'd refer you to Thane Krios as the one needing help (besides him being sick). Walks like he's had a close encounter with a Customs agent and a rubber glove. The odd walk of the Quarians and Turians I get, they have distinctly different physiology and skeletal structure, but Drell skeletons don't look that different from Humans or Asar, certainly not enough to justify that walk.

Sorry for the weak quality; I only have these two pictures with FemShep sitting.

In shadowbroker DLC, if you femshep sits down, she actually sits correctly, with her legs closed, and your male shep sits down legs open.

I think ME3 will have said system, since this dlc is working toward it.

Edit
I honestly need to look at the last page before posting something...

^With that said, I think there are times, when sitting with her legs apart looks fine - like on the shuttle going to the Shadowbroker ship - in fact, LOTSB shows us that they know when to make her body language masculine and when to make it feminine at the right times.

They struck the perfect balance with LOTSB, and they should just stick with that.

Knowing Bioware, the answer is probably no.

What about LOTSB?  They obviously listened and that DLC is a response to that.  They got the balance between masculinity and femininity pretty much perfect imho.... If they keep that up, I think we're all good.

I agree.  I shared OPs concerns, and LotSB helped assuage them.  In fact, the solution to a few of issues I had with ME2 seemed to be present in LotSB.  This makes me hopeful.

Agreed.

I believe LOTSB was damn near perfect in almost every aspect. Hopefully it has set the standard for ME3.
