Please no deus ex machina. BioWare's storywriters are too good for that.

Or the geth, or the Cylons, or the replicators. Its a vague description from a guy who has been smoking the good stuff.

True but i don't think Geth fall under the category of machine Devils and Cylons/Replicators aren't part of ME.

I don't mean the literal Latin translation, I mean the definition as a plot device:  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_ex_machina

Forgive me, but I don't know how to post links. I also find Anjea to be the most interesting of the two planets.

Go into "post reply" or "quote," but not "quick reply."  Highlight the text you want to become a link.  Then press the little icon of the Earth with a small chain under it.  This icon appears above the text box.

Or you can just put the link inbetween {url} {/url} but with square brackets instead.

There are some other planets that are part of the mystery methinks. Planets like Preying Mouth and Ploba could be possible locations where dormant Reapers lie in wait. Junthor is a planet which could hold the secret to the origins of the Reapers.

I agree, especially with the Junthor planet.

I have a feeling Junthor and Preying Mouth are coming back and they will play a big part in ME3. Look at Klendagon, it was a big mystery in ME and in ME2 it was solved.

Yeah, I think Zaherux is one of the possible clues to defeating the Reapers. It's actually a homage to The Invincible by Polish sci-fi writer Stanislaw Lem.

No way the Reapers can withstand that nano-dissassembler technology, but how are we going to expose them to it?

I just want to be able to explore all the mysterious planets maybe activate a few dormant relays. The one planet with the crypt I want to explore those see what I can find maybe something interesting or maybe just a souvenir for the Normandy which needs a trophy room like in the hold or something

Are you speaking of Armeni?

I think there's something really interesting there. Since it involves yet another extinct race, the zeioph.

Or the Volus could simply be as high as the sky.

I am a Biotic wind!

How many of us have been stoned at breakfast only to see our fruit loops talking to us?

If there were a an alien species that has been around since the dawn of time dedicated to the protection of organic life then they have done a fairly poor job of it.

I don't think that's true. They seem to do a fairly good job of keeping sapient life safe for ... oh about 50,000 years or so.

So you suspect that the Beings of Light are, in fact, the Users.  I can dig some ME3 discwars.

There's three balls in the air to keep an eye on.

1) The Reaper datapad that Shepard handed to Joker at the end of ME 2. Probably includes various scans, combat logs from the Normandy and data mined by EDI from the Collector base.

2) The whole Dark Energy thing on Haestrum, No idea where they're going with this one.

3) The Prothean cypher. Shepard could use this to discover some more Prothean tech to fight the Dreadnought Cthulus.

The rest could be red herring I think.

Just to clarify for everyone, dark energy is not some crazy name for a powerful type of energy, it is simply the force that counteracts against gravity to balance out space time.

Dark Energy is also causing the universe to expand at an accelerated rate.

There is one story that indirectly supports the possibility of this piece of trivia being important:

Wrex's story about how he worked for Saren once on a job to capture a Volus freighter, but was fortunate enough to jump sh*t before all the mercs were killed.

Maybe the freighter was Kumun Shol's.

This is the kind of thing I like to see... making interesting connections that aren't so obvious but are viable and add depth to the overall plot.  Good stuff.  And omfg at the idea of Saren/Wrex tag team... if only he'd have been indoctrinated by Saren.
