Anyone know what the <bleep> this is?

Activation context generation failed for "C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\DAOrigins.exe". Dependent Assembly

Event viewer is calling it a Sidebyside error sorce.

When I try and launch the game nothing comes up and I get this in event viewer. Yesterday I was all good.

Thanks

normally side-by-side errors mean the patch needs to be reinstalled

I just tried to reinstall it, overtop of the current patch. I think my sext step it to remove the total program.. Though I hate doing that. :-)

when you uninstall tell it remove the settings as well... if you're interested in trying an alternate version of the game you can use the EADM

http://eastore.ea.com/eadm

just use the DVD key from the box
