Okay i wanted to do this prestige class so i decided to go 4 levels of ranger and 5 levels of Sorcerer.

so i am a wood elf
i have a BAB of 6
i have both long and short bow weapon focuses
i also have obviously the ability to cast 1st level arcane spells

Why cant i do the prestige?

According to the NWN2 wiki, you need the point blank shot feat. (Also you only needed focus in one bow type, not both.)

On top of that, do you have at least 11 Charisma?

You should stick with only one weapon focus, but I guess it's too late for that...

Do you have at least 11 charisma so you can actually cast sorceror spells? That is a common trip up.

You need Weapon Focus, not Weapon Proficiency.

I have the FOCUS for both, and yes i have like 15 or 16 charisma. I have the requirments for it like exactly but it wont let me do it. Do i have to be level 10 before i can do it?

Well, you have to level up, obviously. You'll be level 10 by then.

And my previous comment was a response to this:

That's not true. Elves gain longbow proficiency (among other weapons), but not Focus.

Still no answer to this.

He answered to that in his/her second post.

And you need 11 natural CHA, without items. I guess that's the case, since I don't think you have a +5 item by level 9, but someone was going to mention it sooner or later.
