Many years ago, when Jade Empire was released for PC I bought it from Bioware. Downloaded. And way back then there was a site where all of the Bioware game CD keys and activation codes were kept, I could always check back on the site then to get the code again. Now I haven't played Jade Empire in ages but suddenly figured why not? Why not to try it again. The thing is, this is a totally new PC so after installation, it now asks for activation code. And I don't remember it, I bought this game 5 years ago! So I went to check the Bioware's pages for the code and go figure, I just can't find that page anymore where all of the codes were stored. After a long time of searching and clicking heck knows where I finally was able to log into my "old account" from way back then, but nowhere can I find this code from there either. Anyone remembers what was the URL to that page or if the data was moved to somewhere else? I can't even find the page where I could re-download the game from, like Bioware promised I could always do. Some pages direct me now to Bioware's Store and that site doesn't know anything about me or my account or my old purchases.
From where can I find the activation code?

On the old forums we did have a place where we could store our cd keys (or cd activation code). The data hasn't been moved yet (that i know of). Basically you're out of luck, if you haven't printed the activation code, and the cd key you should have received back then.
I searched for a place where you could re-download (or buy) Jade Empire. I got this page:
http://jade.bioware....tion/order.html But the only thing I found when i clicked on the Bioware Online Store was a blank page. It seems, though, that the game can be re-bought from Steam
http://store.steampo...d.com/app/7110/ for about 15 Euros. This is, of course, a little consolation, I know.
On a more general note, let me add that your story exactly if why I'd rather buy games on disc than on download.
