So what were your reactions when you saw the human Reaper for the first time and the Reaper for the first time as well? Did you fall out of bed, faint ?

I sat wild eyed and just repeated the  f word

With the Reaper fleet activating, I was underwhelmed because I thought they were already on their way. I was like "What, they're only now starting to fly back?"



I was pretty cheesed that the game ended on pretty much the same note that ME1 did, the reapers are coming back!

I'm pretty sure they started flying the second ME1 ended. I didn't see any relay behind them for them to go to the Citadel. I'm pretty sure they were just finally "closing" in on the galaxy.

Their lights came on, and they started flying. If they were already coming since ME1, then I guess that cutscene was just them waking up from a 15 minute nap on one of the pitstops?



Also, I got the impression that they were building a new Reaper so they could have another crack at the Citadel / opening the relay, which would require them staying at it's twin in darkspace to use. It's never explicitly stated, but if that wasn't the case, then wtf was the point of ME2? It would have zero plot impact if the Reaper succeeded because they're still on their way one way or another. I mean, when you blow the base, Harbinger is all "WE WILL FIND ANOTHER WAY", implying that the human reaper was their 2nd shot at getting into the galaxy.

They were probably going from low power to full power to speed up their progress? They're clearly moving before their lights come on.

The Human Reaper was probably for a suprise attack on the Citadel while the main fleet hit the Galaxy's edges.

Actually the Human Old Machine's at least the third attempt. Rachni were likely to draw attention from the Old Machine attack, had the signal worked, Second one was Saren and third one's Human Old Machine.
