I've almost always played a Warrior or Rogue in the past, but considering Hawke's family backstory and such, I'm leaning heavily towards Mage for a change. Actually, whatever gets me the cool bladed staff and leather/fur/metal outfit seen in the trailers, I can't help it I think those look awesome.

I think I will go with a Male 2-handed warrior first, or a male mage.

Aeschaylus will be a humourless, vicious, paranoid, brooding psychopath who is spat on by his family for lacking any magical talent and only feels alive when in battle and is actually aroused by pain. Roars bad poetry after combat, takes sarcasm very badly and is strangely enough a gifted and passionate orator (when he speaks at all).

Plan to make him into a monster to give darkspawn nightmares, oh and he loves his dog so not all bad.

I would always play a warrior but for some reason, rogues appealed to me in DA:O. Therefore, I will play a female rogue or a mage. I tire of playing warriors. Personality wise, she'll b kind, sarcastic at times but ultimately a goody-two-shoe. Oh, I will most certainly customize her but default fem!Hawke is purdy.

I'll probably be a (male) Mage, if only because it'll probably have more ties to the plot and I want to experience the plot at it's fullest before I make any other decision.

Also you can never have too many possible healers.

ill be goin with mage male hawke first, he will be a smartass but will usually do the right thing (unless doing the right thing would hurt him in any way, or, if a choice, the right thing involves helping the chantry). so basically a good but corrupt hero

I will be playing a Greatsword Male Warrior Gonna name him Jonathan Hawke. I think gonna use the default look. And i will most likey use my Dalish Warden Import. as for personality im usually on the fly about sort thing i never know til i am in the mommet.

Then, I'll either try a female mage or a male rogue.

I was thinking about female melee rogue, but I want to take Isabela with me in the party, so I might switch it to female archer rogue.. 2 melee rogues seem a bit much. xD

Lady Hawke, probably the default because she's just so cute. Although I might go see what hairstyle options are available and make my own. Probably a rogue. I always play rogues first, because it's easier to get into locked places. As for personality... We'll see. It depends on the options available.

Male warrior, bearded preset. Not sure if it's going to be two hander or sword and shield. if Indomitable makes a return then I'll be a two hander for sure, because indomitable + the weapon speed it shows hawke attacking with, is pretty OP as both DPS and Tanking.

Hard to say, though definitely not a mage (not a big fan of them, especially on early levels where they are squishy). I know I will definitely be using custom faces (as I never use the iconic defaults in any game), that is for certain (just a preference thing, I like my characters customized and made by ME, did the same with Mass Effect).



It's a tossup between:

-Aggressive sword & shield female warrior

-Aggressive two-hand male warrior

-Diplomatic sword & shield male warrior

-Sarcastic male archer rogue

-Sarcastic dual wielding female rogue



So many choices (ugh) ; )

Definitely a female. Probably Rogue but all these Mage screenshots are awfully tempting... I think I'm going to be a dork and call her Sparrow Hawke, because that's how I roll. Or Regan. Uhh, as far as choices go, we'll say diplomatic yet sneaky. So mostly the DA2 equivalent 'Paragon' but with a Ruthless edge.

I'll use the first playthrough to scope out which class to use for my 2nd playthrough.

It will probably be a Male Mage with epic beard and custom face.

Hmm... I usually play my games through as if I were the protagonist and then go into some crazy role-playing playthrough, well I already have an idea for the crazy role-playing, which cannot be anything but a mage, so I guess I'll have to pick a two-handed warrior Hawke for my first playthough.
