Two handed male warrior with a changeable slightly schizophrenic personality (based of Viruk from Echoes of the great Song slightly). You know helping a poor child one moment then manicly laughing while killing some peasants about ten minutes later

Lady rogue first...have to be able to open every lock I find. Tries to talk her way out of bad situations but keeps a knife handy.

Though I do like the idea of trying a slightly unbalanced guy mage; he wants to protect his family, yet loses control at inopportune moments.

Might need to start two playthroughs at once...

I plan on playing a female rogue. Most likely will be fairly sarcastic and fun-loving (will be drinking buddies with Isabela and Varric right away) however I think she will be quite protective of her siblings at the same time. She may let lose around her peers but she is the older sister amongst her siblings.

Although most of the time I begin with a rogue that thinks she is funny or a warrior, this time I will go for a female Hawke with a mage class. This is unusual for me since mages are always the last on my list.

well, unsuprisingly, my first playthrough will be a mage. however im undecided if im gonna play as a cruel maleficar who specs in spirit and some elemental magic or a sort of druidy type whos good and fair etc. the druid will sport a wild beard and hair and use nature school magic and earth and possibly lightning too. my maleficar will be a sorceress and will work to blood mage if its in the game.

 My mage playthrough I am holding off on deciding till I know more about Bethany and our father. Especially Hawke's father considering he be most likely the one who trained me. So I imagine what his personality was like, what happened to him, etc. would be influential especially to a mage Hawke.

For my mage playthrough it'll probably be Varric, Fenris, and possibly Aveline.
When it comes to playing as a rogue however, I'm unsure. So far it's probably Fenris and Bethany, and then maybe Isabela on the side.
However it's all subject to change once I have the actual game sitting in my hands. I thought Zevran would be an awesome companion before the game was released, only then to find out that he simply didn't mesh with my play style AT ALL. Which is why he's always stuck back at camp, even for the characters who romance him and can't stand Leliana. (Love his character, just found Leliana to be better suited to my fighting party.)

From what we've seen so far, if I'm playing a rogue, I'll probably bring Aveline, Fenris (if he's a warrior) and whoever the healer mage ends up being (Anders/the Anders look-a-like?).

Aveline, Isabela, and Mage Dude. I'm also waiting for the next companion reveal and the DLC companion. I figure one of them will be like Shale or Rabbit in that they have a completely different set of core abilities from the holy triad.

No, I won't know that until I meet them. Thus far I have no particular feelings one way or the other about the companions they have revealed.

Thanks to banter there is good chance I'll end up with various campaigns with mixes of them all.

Hmm... So far it seems I am going to have a very rogue heavy party. My own Hawke rogue, Isabela and Varric. I think as both to get that older sibling aspect across + having a mage in the party I will also have Bethany there. Though who knows what will happen when we find out more info on companions + any new ones/DLC companion.

Edmundo Hawke the mage will provably travel with Varric, Isabela and Aveline.
For the female mage maybe Meg... I mean Fenris and perhaps Bethany, depending on her opinions about the chantry.

Warrior because i prefer a good aesthetic, Rogue just dosen't look that great to me



and i switch my companions out to whoever i think most fits the story.

Shhh you'll jinx it.

For my party it will be my Mage (Raith Hawke), Bethany, Fenris, and Isabella.
