While trying to "edit" the main campaign to see how certain things work, I've noticed a major roadblock for me. The toolset can open the .rim and .erf files that contain most of the campaign's data, but I can't extract the files inside in a way that I can view the information. I would appreciate some help on what I'm supposed to do...

(By the way, tell me if I need to be more specific.)

You need to be more specific.

What are the names or at least extensions of files inside the erf and rim you're looking at? Currently we don't have all the source assets, so you might not be able to do anything with what you find in there.

I did some searching, and it looks like the .erf editor isn't the problem. I've been extracting the files from the .erf and putting them into my module, but they open as .gff files. I understand this is because the extracted file had already been converted to a binary format.

I suppose my real question is wheter there is a way to view/edit main campaign files such as .dlg. Since I solved my original problem, I'll leave this topic and create one that states my problem and intent more clearly.
