As strange as it is, I think Killing Floor is my favorite multiplayer-wise.
Singleplayer is Dead Space. Yes, I know they're technically not "zombies".

I like the Left 4 Dead series, though resident evil is also awesome. Haven't tried killing floor yet, I always seem to keep missing when its on sale.

Killing Floor is all right I suppose. I put too much time into it because it is decent mindless slaughter of zombies.



Though, best zombie game I have played is what a lot of others have said, being Left 4 Dead (1 and 2). I think it's just the way the zombies behave.

Killing Floor sucks to end and the all time most annoying thing in that crap game is The Vendor that sounds like some hyped up homosexual that tries to act like a high school girl fighting for a popularity title. So many dam times I WISHED that just ONCE the vendor would STFU an die!

And for crying out loud, in a real world full of horrific zombies WTF (who the F) wouldn't shoot the vendor for trying to make a profit off of the millions of deaths caused by horrific zombies, with survivors looking desperately for a gun to defend themselves with???
That game deserves to be burned with a diseased bum pissing on the ashes.

But to not make it sound like I came here just to express my hatred (opinion) for a game, I personally enjoyed Dead Rising because it reminded me of "Dawn of the Dead", Shadow of Rome (anything is a weapon in the Roman Colosseum feature), and GTA3SA, as if they were merged together into a game of awe (that's my best analogy of it).

just a part of a game who's rights have been reserved by me. from a court of law i own this idea. 

PAST 19 YEARS- So your character was born in the northwestern region the U.S.A. He/she was born on 8/5/2014 in the town of Loyalton, California. The day he/she was born a horrible epidemic occurred nation wide. It was the beginning of a zombie apocalypse. This was because of a government project that was being hidden in a water bottle manufacturing plant in Long Beach, New York that accidentally made and released their bottled water to all the U.S.T. These tests were to made to make a super soldier one who wouldn’t feel pain, who were fast and extremely agile, and would follow every order given to them. They were making an entire army of mindless thugs that will obey their every command. So once the Government learned of their accident they went to the few states that the water shipment hadn’t reached California, Oregon, and Washington. So they decided to quarantine the states and leave them in protection from all the zombies and people trying to get in. You would think that all the people in the states being protected would be angry with the government for only protecting them, and at first they were. But then with gas and other products only being shipped to those three states, prices of everything went way down and taxes went up to fuel the military efforts to serve and protect. People just went on living there lives like nothing happened like there isn’t a fight for survival going on in the state bordering them. So now your character is off to college with a beautiful campus near the boarder of California. Now your character is either a rising MMA star, a student that comes from a rich family in law, a student with a scholarship in medical and engineering, a poor gun skilled kid who joined the army to pay for his way through college, or a skilled rogue assassin who sneaks through the army barricades and steals from the protected side then gives to back to his society in the contaminated area. In the outside-unprotected area there are two groups fighting for a different cause. One group on the outside is known to civilians as the Extremists who are fighting to kill the government and make everyone live in these conditions. The other are called the P.O.T.U.S.A who serve to stop the extremist group and try to convince the government to help the other communities that have survived the 19 long years of the zombie apocalypse.

CHARACTER TYPES guy or girl-
Fighter- 
Opening Storyline- You have been fighting your whole life because your father was a fighter and he died asking you to carry on his legacy. So once you’re about to win the MMA fight that will launch your career to pro status you hear screaming from the audience and you see a group of extremist and zombies start to attack everyone. You have to fight your way through with a pistol and your fists. Then when you rescue (or ditch) a screaming lady, a man wearing all white amour comes out of nowhere and saves your life. His name is Shane and he is one of the leaders of a union of people called the Protectors, and has been watching your progress and wants to recruit you. ¨
Abilities- He is primarily a melee character. They specialize in hand to hand combat as well as heavy weapons. Such as hammers or high caliber pistols. They usually fight with fist weapons such as nailed gloves or iron fists. The athlete is very strong and very fast he is able to move quickly with deadly hands made for killing zombies. The athlete’s ranged weapons is a sawed off shotgun or high caliber pistol. Their armor is usually just a sleeveless bulletproof vest to show off their muscles, some elbow guards, whatever attack gloves you are wearing, and normal army men lower outfit. That would be considered medium amour, because it’s heavy and flexible. Plus they can level up to make their natural armor (skin) tough. They are made to be quick but be able to take a beating and pack a punch.
Med/Tech- You are a student with a full ride double major scholarship. For short you are a genius, while studying nursing and engineering your whole life you have worked hard not only to keep amazing grades but to also keep a great social life. Your parents died a week after your birth cause of a horrible work accident. Now with no family inside the states you were placed with a godfather, someone with whom your parents trusted with there own lives. He also just happens to be a college professor at the school you are attending. His name is Professor Ronald J. Harkin. He believes that what the government is doing is wrong and he is working on making an airborne disinfectant to put out to help the uninfected, so that the government will have no excuse but to rescue them. One day while you were hanging out with your girlfriend/boyfriend in your dorm room with a tie on the doorknob. So you guys are making out on your bed while your roommate is yelling at you to hurry up because your taking forever. You just laugh, then about 30 sec later you hear a scream from the roommate and then see blood coming from the other side dripping in under the door. After you notice that, you hear more screaming and gunshots coming from all directions. You rush to get the 2 emergency pistols incase this very thing took place. Then you could have he/she say “and people laughed at me for this.” So you and your girlfriend/boyfriend race to the lab to make sure that Harkin is okay. You fight through extremists and zombies by using occasional lock picking and computer hacking to get you through to the lab. You enter to find that there was obviously a struggle and that Harkin must have been kidnapped. Then a group of government agents come in and attacks you. You kill a couple of the agents and then Shane, the leader of the Protectors, comes in and finishes the rest of the group off. Then after while he is talking to you about joining him, your girlfriend/boyfriend is looking for useful supplies around the lab and out of nowhere a zombie comes and bites her/him. You kill it but Shane warns you that the transformation process is quick and to say your goodbyes and kill them. You have a sentimental moment ended by the bullet from Jacks’ gun. You cry and hit him but you know it was for the best. 
Abilities- Med/Tech’s have the unique ability of healing and technical power, such as creation of weapons and the repairs of them too. They also wear medium amour with weapon focus in heavy shotguns. They are good for beginners because of their variation of abilities. 
Tamer- Your whole life you have been rich and been able to get out of any trouble through your unique cunning abilities. You are attending the same university and are studying law like your parents. So one night while sleeping in your very nice apartment you are woken up from screaming and the feel of a warm liquid on your face. Once you are aware of your surroundings you realize that your apartment is swarming with zombies and your boyfriend/girlfriend is being eaten then once you fall out of bed and start to back up right into a zombie and you are bitten on your neck. You then push the zombie off and yell “get away from me.” So the zombie does what you told him to and turns around and walks away. You learn that you are able to control one zombie at a time. To do whatever you want them to. So you grieve for a bit then decide with your abilities you can help people (or escape from the zombies to save your own skin). Jack comes out to help you and says he needs another tamer because they are so rare. Then he recruits you. If you saved people he will help them too, but if you didn’t he just wants you to join his cause. Tamers are the vanguards, mages, or Jedi consular of this game. They have a “silver tongue” and can convince people to do what they want, and they also can control zombie’s actions. You can make it so the zombies kill themselves help you in a fight, or even sets off traps that are set up against you. This will turn out to be because of a serum that was meant to be given to who ever was controlling the zombie weapons, but it was stolen then given to babies around the U.S.T. The serum makes it so that you are impervious to one bite and after that bite you can control zombies. This is because the serum fights the zombie virus to fuse with your cells so that zombies believe you as one of them, then you can command them. It’s harder to command more advanced zombies. 
Abilities- It can develop into making it so you can control a whole army of them if you learn it right or it could just be one at a time. Another special thing about tamers is there zombie-like appearance, which allows them to have a disguise ability that makes zombies stop attacking you. Tamers usually wear light armor; because of their protection level they can do what they want.
Assassin- you are a guy/girl who lives in the infected area in a small village right outside where the army is protecting the states. This village is very far from other civilizations and sometimes it could take weeks to get fuel, food, and water to the your village so every week the village leader, Jorgen, will talk to the soldiers and beg for food and water, and while he does that you sneak through a poorly protected spot and then steal supplies for your village and family. One day while you were stealing, the Extremists attacked the outer protection and let zombies through. You then, with your sniper skills, help and rescue civilians (or continued stealing and let them die). While doing whatever path you chose, a large group of zombies came in and started attacking you. You fight and resist but the zombies end up pinning you down. But instead of biting you they hold you down while a government agent walks up to you. He then admires you for your guile and marksman skills and says you’ll be a “good addition to my group”. Then one of the zombies attempts to bite you but is killed by a bullet to the head. Then Jack and his squad kill all the zombies and the government agent gets away.
Abilities- Assassins are skilled at stealth you are able to sneak past people without being seen, also they are experts in hand to hand combat, they are good with knifes, and they are deadly from far away with there pristine sniper ability. They wear light armor. 
Soldier- You are a poor student who joined the army to pay your way though college. Your ambition to just be known when you walk down a street is what drives you to work so hard. Often a leader from a village right next to where you guard, will come and ask for food. You have the option to give him what he needs or you can blow him off and rub it in his face. Then when the Extremists come you get orders to go get a college professor and transport him to a government base. Along the way you have the choice to rescue others. When you arrive at the office, you hear your commanding officer yelling at a government agent decked out in high tech armor and weapons saying that this isn’t what he signed up for. Then that officer shoots your commanding officer then shoots the professor in the leg, and tells his men to get him stitched up and loaded on the truck, then to tell the president that the officer went crazy and shot the professor. Outraged for what he did you try to fight him, but get knocked out and you wake up without any weapons or clothes on. Jack is here and tells you that he could use a soldier like you in his army. Soldiers wear heavy armor and are experts in all ranged weapons. They are great shots and are demolition experts. They can lay traps and have all kinds of weapons on them. They are perfectly able in hand-to-hand combat but their real mastery is with guns. You give them a gun and they will be fine.

MY VERSION OF ZOMBIES- they are very similar to the I AM LEGEND zombies except they can survive in the light. Also they are about as fast and tough as the husks in mass effect. Also there are different kinds of them, a strong one, a fast one, and one that can blow up.(I’ll get creative with it.)

WEAPONS- the thing about weapons is, depending on which character you are, your weapons will change d. So if you want to be melee, be the athlete. You want a mix be the assassin. If you want to control zombies as your own weapons be the tamer. Or you love guns, explosions and heavy armor then you are a soldier. Lastly you might want to be able to heal your squad and use high tech weaponry of your own design to decimate the enemy, so you would be the med/tech. now all of these options have there own special attachment that makes them deadly up close. For example knifes on pistols, steel knife elbow, freeze ray or flamethrower, and a sort of call that the makes zombies heads blow up. Something so that even if don’t do melee you can still be deadly up close. 
Weapons for Assassin Character- Since they are stealthy characters, assassins are best with snipers and knives. They will be able to dual-wield knives, as well as dual-wield pistols with knives on them. He can’t use assault rifles, and will be below average with every other weapon. The assassin is mainly an up-close and far away fighter.
Weapons for Athlete Character- His unique weapon is a blade that attaches to his elbow guard for when he elbow drops someone or just wants to fight dirty. The athlete also uses sawed off shotguns when it comes down that there is a gunfight. He does not have good aim and is horrible with all guns except shotguns. The athlete is your melee specialist so he uses all types of melee weapons and fighting. He is sort of a Hulkish type so he is really good with his fist, but is also really good with weapons like hammers and bats. Lastly for when he is fighting with his fists 

Companions-
Jorgen the Juggernaut- Jorgen is a fighter character who is If you are a fighter you meet Jorgen in your MMA fight. After the zombies break in to the arena you’re fighting in, he takes off and you don’t see him again until a few missions later. No matter what character you are, you will see Jorgen in a Protector’s holding cell after the Protectors have recruited you. You talk to him for a while and you convince him to join your squad. 
Sabrina the Tamer- Sabrina is one of the evil ones in the group. She became the leader of the village by keeping zombies out in exchange for the village giving her everything they have. During one of the later missions you hear about a village outside the government-protected zone where zombies never attack. The Protectors send you in to figure out why and when you get there you see the government is attacking the village. After killing all the government agents you talk to the leader of the village, which is Sabrina. While talking to her you figure out that she is a tamer and that’s why the government was attacking the village.

Both RE4 and Dead Space. Unfortunately, I only played RE1 - 3 in the last 2 years, by which point they felt like 70's horror movies (i.e. unscary, and very, very, lame). Not that RE4 is scary at all, but it doesn't try to be. It's just an awesome action game. Also loved the Mercenaries in RE4.
