The only ones I've ever played are Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. Not much into zombies.

I love Left 4 Dead (Not Left for Dead 2 though).
And I can tolerate the Dead rising games, although I hate being timed on everything I do.
I'm going to be keeping a close eye on Dead Island.
The very first (To my knowledge) Zombie game with RPG elements.

Project Zomboid. This is a great zombie game. No story you just try to survive as long as possible. Currently in beta but man is it great.

"The House of the Dead 2" with two light guns, John Woo style. I used to play that game for hours on end. Other than that, "Resident Evil 2". I hope "Dead State" turns out as well as I hope.

Resident Evil: Outbreak! I loved the online portion. Even though it wasn't the greatest gameplay wise, I thought the concept was amazing and the music as well.
