Let's not waste time pretending we're going to destroy YouTube. If anything is going to, it'll be SOPA and PROTECT-IP, and not in a way we'd like, either.

If MandaloreMovies hasn't abandoned this thread, then, I would strongly encourage him to look for ways to let us see his regular videos again--Gavorn's tricks, Best Interrupt Ever, Stop right there criminal cube, etc., etc. I don't have personal experience with Blip.TV but from what Andrew says it sounds interesting. That or another account or whatever. Don't give up, man!

Those two videos are one of the reasons I'm so pissed about Mandalore Movies getting banned or kicked off YouTube. I love those and I was wanting to see them again after just finishing ME2 again recently. But noooooo, the folks at YouTube decided to be ginormous dicks and terminate his account. Ghaaa, I'd help if I could but I don't know if there is any other place to get them. Which sucks!

Blip TV isn't really ideal, since the video player isn't good, and videos often take a long time to load an/or they stop loading so that they can show an ad and cancel the video, forcing you to reload the page to try to load the video again.

Dear god those ads... One before and one afterthe video, unskipable and take forever to chug through. Wanna rewatch that vid? Gotta go through that ad again! Don't forget those ads that pop up during the video every ten seconds!

I've never seen any ads on Blip (only things I've watched on it are SFDebris' reviews). AdBlock might explain nothing popping up but I'm not sure how it can prevent ones at the beginning and end.

I've attempted communicating with Youtube, whose responses have basically amouunted to screeching chimpanzees. So I have two options.
1) I am either going to start over with a brand new account, and possibly upload some of my more popular stuff that I can retrieve, or simply remake it in better quality (my earlier stuff was windows movie maker anyways).

2) I'll just kind of drop the Youtube thing and let DJHarbringerVids continue on my "legacy" so to say. Why did they take down your videos? I don't even understand how it could be copyright violation or anything like that since you edited and essentially created your own material. I'm guessing some little twerp claimed to be someone they're not making up pretenses.

A true shame though as you easily had some of the funniest fan-made videos.

But YouTube is really weird. I made some sort of continuation of Mandalore's "The Secret of Indoctrination" ( www.youtube.com/watch ) and YT was still somehow able to detect music copyright issues...

thatguywiththeglasses.com uses blip tv, and it's just horrible.
