Hi guys.
After finally buying ME2, I decided to reinstall ME1 to play it through again on my PC, since it has been so long and I've forgotten the storyline.

The first time I played through ME1, I had no problems at all.  NOW, I get these graphic glitches as you can see below, after reinstalling and patching ME1 with the official patches.

Anyone experienced this before?  How do I fix it? (It persisted after updating to the latest driver for my gfx card.)

I'm ACHING to play through ME1 again before jumping into ME2 and this matter is burning me up!  ALL characters in the game appear as below!Posted Image

You should post specs per the stickied thread. But I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the problem is that you have an Nvidia card that's updated to the latest drivers. That second part is weird, I know, but several times now Nvidia has done something to mess up compatibility with the ME games, especially for older cards. (At least this time Nvidia users can still run the game fine, even if it looks weird.)

Assuming I'm right about your computer having an Nvidia card, best bet is to go back to an older driver set. I'm afraid I can't advise you to the ins and outs of doing that, myself, never having gone through the process.

Thank you much Kloreep. Will try that first. (going with older Nvidia driver.) Will let you know how it turns out in the next day or so.
