Hahahaha! I found out my flaw! It's because I never have her in my party! In order to progress this, I have to find some random encounter and then follow a lead. So next time I'm on I'll replace Shale with Leliana and we *should* find that random encounter soon enough....I'll post my findings whenever I can, if this thread isn't too buried in the boards come tomorrow evening

I know, I left Shale my first playthrough on Orzammar and I missed out on a lot of his background. Also I was missing my tank

I just found out that after you finish, you can go back to your camp and catch up on all the conversations. Just got it.

She will only marry you if you are of the human noble origin, and male of course, but yes. Talk to her after you rescue her and before the landsmeet, and instead of convincing her to marry alistair, when she asks for your support, convince her to marry you.

I have made digital love to Leliana and got the achievement to prove it*
Turns out all I had to do was bring her in my party, first random encounter I got was her little quest.

Conditions for romance:

PC Male OR Female *shwing!*

Male:

• You do not even need to be at "warm"
• Initial conversation about her time in the cloister - camp conversation
• "I'd like to talk"
• "What was someone like you doing lothering's chantry?"
• "you know, a beautiful woman like yourself"
• "Those initiates couldn't have been as lovely as you"
• Romance starts

Female: Approval rating 50+ required.

• Leliana will say "I... have i ever told you i really like your hair?" She will say this only once
• "My hair? Thankyou"
• "Dear maker!"
• Well we are friends aren't we?"
• "And do you enjoy the company of other women?"
• I think i might giggle and look coy?"
• Romance starts

If you finish her personal quest "Marjolaine"  talk to Leliana, she will say:

• I know that look, you have something to say dont you?

Respond with

• "We need to talk"
• "Are you feeling better?"
• "I see what you mean"
• "She was special to you wasn't she"
• "Im sorry it ended badly"
• "Everyone changes"
• "I can only hope to one day be as special as she was to you"

Romance started

To seduce, you need to romance her at 100 approval. She also needs to say "It has been some time since i left Lothering. When i stepped out of the cloister i had no idea where my path would lead" She will only say this once. Just be nice.

Also, if you "change" leliana during her personal quest, she will change to a tougher demeanor and her end outfit will change from her standard chantry robes.

One cannot have anykind of personal relationship with Morrigan in order to "convince" Liliana. You can check the "relationship" bar to see how things are going. My primary had her up to 100% and she was only friendly. All because I had started "flirting" with Morrigan first.

I actually slept with Morrigan before hand. I then got all the way to sleeping with Leliana which meant i did the whole romacing part with leliana after a one night stand with morrigan.

The following conversation with Morrigan about PC sleeping with "that thing" was rather amusing (especially after Morrigan's response to my asking her "Now what" after the sex was "either it will happen again, or it wont. I care not" . It ended with Morrigan forcing you to choose between the two, to which i choice Leliana.

You most likely got stuck at friendly and at 100% because you missed a dialog event.

I must have screwed up an earlier dialogue. I have Leliana in my party all the time, I have her up to +100% (Warm), and I broke up with Morrigan, but she won't initiate conversation with me. No cut scenes, no random events during travel (I've hopped all over the map trying to get one), and when I try to talk with her at camp and she asks me what I want to talk about, the only response option I'm given is "Nothing, never mind." There doesn't even seem to be any way to lower her approval of me back down to where I might start romancing her again. Looks like it's hopeless.

Worse, she's constantly talking up Wynne, apparently trying to entice her into a woman-woman relationship. Just now she started talking to her about the talent of being able to tie knots in cherry stems using just her tongue. No, I'm not kidding.
