My 360 broke, so I sent it to Microsoft to get it fixed. My friend told me that I will have to re-download all of my DLC; is this true?

Are your Profile and saves on the HD?
Did you keep the HD?
You should not have had send the HD with the Xbox.

I had to send my old xbox for repairs like two years ago. If I remember correctly they do not need the HD.

I'm not sure if you can, but you could try to contact Microsoft from the docs they gave you to ask about the the HD.

Nonetheless, your achievements and DLC content should be fine on your online profile, but you might have to re-download the content.

Sorry, I don't know what more to tell you.

I tried a few searches, and I'd suggest you login to and check out xbox.com.

You should have a tracking number to see at what stage Microsoft is in the repairs, and again you could try calling them.

Cheers

You might have to re download your dlc if it is not on hard drive but you will not have to buy it again. You can redowload them for free from your xbox live profile.
