I, too, enjoyed putting Cailan and Duncan on the spot at Ostagar!

While I'm normally not someone for Vengeance, holy GOD did it feel good to slice into that basterd Vaughn! I'm not letting him out from now on in my other stories. My Human one I thought he was simply captured by Howe and impressioned, oh sir no, rot in that dungeon you evil SOB.
My thoughts exactly, never before have i felt the urge to cut someone in pieces and light them on fire. Hmm, i guess games do invoke violent thoughts

but it was especially nice to get the head chopped off finishing move. I loved that. Even better when you tell the King you just killed the Arl's son. hahaha

Umm..did you play as a male or a female..because in my experience, it feels so much more..epic as a female elf.
Yeah, rescue missions are standard fare; but fighting your way out against the rapists: epic origin story!

damn I'll have to try this as
female then. I Played all 6 origins, but I had a male for this one. I'll
play a female up to the end of the origin story I guess.

hahaha
Cailan: "You....what?"
Duncan: "Your majesty, I
would not have put it so bluntly..."

Rolled my first ce as a rogue, and will perhaps try out a warrior since I'm a sucker for sweet looking swords and awesome armor...

Some poor noble locked in Howe's dungeon like all the others.
I find it interesting that the elf in the other cell didn't mention who V was.
he does IF you hit it at the right dialogue tree...if you don't you miss it and he runs off...
but pick the right question and he tells you exactly why he's in the dungeon (arls son raping his wife)...you then find Vaughn..who says he's the arls son....put 2 and 2 together....

And just to avoid any misunderstandings if you say that the elf (who didn't introduce himself even though we know he's Soris) mentioned him then he starts an uber-racist rant and I always feel perfectly justified killing him. What I want to know is, if you let him bribe you so he's still alive and in the dungeon, does he have any special dialogue for the CE?
No idea; I'm not generally enough of a cad to do that.....

I've never been able to either. Though on my other run throughs I don't kill him in the dungeon I usually leave with a line something like "No one has missed you before now..." implying he can rot in hell for all I care. His response is freaking hilarious!!

Do tell.
He says something like "YOU FAT W HORE!" and then if you click on him after his outburst (and you are an elf) you get something like "You stupid elven w hore. I will get out of here and I will find you" lol fat chance I think as I toss the key in the chantry well...

Considering it's Vaughan...you probably subconsciously sensed his evil and acted accordingly.Am I a bad person if I had no idea who Vaughan was but stabbed him for the hell of it during my first play-through of the game? (HN)

I kill him every single play through. For the DA universe to be right, he must die. He gets one chance to be decent in dialogue... and then it's skewering time.

He was rude. I just let him stay there first time through.
