Hi, I know this is really late in, and might be fruitless, but I was wondering if there was a way for me to get the Collectors Edition collector armor and assault rifle. I tried to preorder the collectors edition, but I think it closed down or something along the lines of that when I was preordering. Sorry if this is rediculous, just hoping to get a shot at that dlc. Thanks for reading this and taking time to answer.

You can get the collector's armor and weapon AND the sniper rifle by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Download version from EA located here...

The code will give you access to BOTH the PC and Xbox360 versions of the DLC. After you receive your code, enter it using the "Redeem Promo Code" on this site, and then open the game in Xbox and you should have access to it's download from there.

I bought the code, redeemed it, it shows up under my registered game content., but can't find the items in game. What do I need to do?

Seeing that you don't mention it....have you actually downloaded it to your 360 yet? That's the first thing to do. I suspect it will be like other dlc stuff in ME2, that it should be in Shepard's locker; and that will be available after Freedom's Progress.
