And Asari are able to reproduce with anyone so the idea that a female having a relationship with an asari is considered homosexual is easily debatable. There are men out there that are very feminine but having intercourse with them is still considered being straight.

Part of what makes Tali Tali is the fact that she's straight. She's been straight for two games. To change her character like that would be lame and make many people, myself included, unhappy. Plus, in order for the Migrant Fleet to thrive, they rely on new recruits. I have a feeling that homosexuality would be beyond frowned upon in their culture.

Nope. We had no idea of her sexuality in the first, and in the second, well they book is still actually open. She never actually denied FemShep. The convo's just ended is all.Valcutio wrote...

You forget the fact that Shepard is a different species. The only way they could have a quarian child is artificial insemination, from another quarian. Applies to both male and female shepard. To change her character like that would be lame and make many people, myself included, unhappy. I really, really, don't understand what this even means, let alone does with Tali.

She was only 'straight' for one game and then retconned for the other. Well, if homosexuality is frowned on in quarian culture due to the things you brought up, wouldn't inter-species romances also be frowned upon? Hence, it's just as ridiculous that she goes for a human male.

Oh, not this again. Those men also have extra junk that asari don't have.

Actually, wouldn't it make more sense for Quarians to be accepting of homosexuality, considering their overpopulation problems?
Just trying to be reasonable here.
As for her sexuality being one of her defining characteristics...that's silly. And I don't think you really believe that. I hope you don't believe that.
Sexuality has absolutely nothing to do with personality. And anyone who believes such a thing needs to take a hard look in the mirror. And then a book.

But it's all moot, because Tali will be the Quarian version of Wrex in ME3.

On a more serious note, i'm actually disapointed that they didn't follow through with what they where planning in ME, allowing same-sex relationships. But you can't really blame them, what's with the FOX news "hardcore intercourse" debate.
Allot of nutjobs would have done all they can to get the game banned. Which would have been a darn shame. I think this same-sex relationship should become an optional DLC, you don't get it when toy buy the game, you can only get it, if you want it yourself.
Atleast FOX can't play the blame game/
Fox douche: "Well i was going though the game and allovasudden my character started to strip down garrus and oil him, it lasted for like 2 hours, i even had to play a Kinect minigame in which my flexibility was tested."
Bioware: "So you downloaded 2 hours of gay interspecies porn and watched it completely from beginning to the end?"
Fox douche: "Well i didn't know what was going on, i expected something else?"
Bioware; "What where you expecting from a dlc called "Broke back Shepard?"
Fox douche: "Horse riding"
Someone needs to have enough of FOX's disingenuous assertions.
I should use that from now on xd

That is actually completely wrong. Sexuality can have a MASSIVE effect on your personality, it could very well make you who you are.

I don't know any one person who allows their sexuality to define them.

Ah, yeah.
Also, personality wise, I have loads in common with some straight women I know and absolutely nothing in common with some gay women I know.
If that were the case, we gay women should be all pretty much the same personaliy wise, but this is clearly untrue (peeps would know this if they'd actually ever have any real life contact with homosexuals).

I felt the same at first, but I think he meant that not every single character can be magically bisexual unless some of them had issues, which sometimes ferment into sexuality. As in some people can just be bisexual, whereas others had some sort of major mental impact affecting their behavior (I'm no psychologist, but that seems to be the case)

Don't take everything personally, I wasn't pointing fingers, I meant people in general, hence the "whatever" bit of it. I just happened to mention the others first since that was main (sub) topic being discussed.

If that is the case, that does have a lot to do with one's emotional health, that craving of attention generaly an aspect of being emotionally unhealthy.Count Viceroy wrote...
