crap so much for her returning
oghren can die in awakening if you do not upgrade the keep. The epilogue specifies he dies in that case not just pass out or something which would be really ridiculous.

wo...wait...I never knew you could execute her..
If you don't tell her about her sister first, she won't attempt to escape.

Nate was in the Free Marches for a while, & Ander's did join Isabella's crew in at least one Awakening ending. Ander's would make a great pirate.
I could live with Oghren as well, I love Oghren, he's hardly a joke character like most folk say, he gets some pretty good development. Also, that Felsi stuff.
If it's a companion from one of the other DLC, I could get behind Silas. Corthwaite's an awesome last name.
Sketch might work as well, don't really know what happened to those two after Leliana's Song.
WAIT YOU GUYS, it's the Hurlock Vanguard from TDC.

No, cause he's going to look different for no reason now due to the "new art direction"

The new Hurlocks have looked a little bit more like the Disciple's in Awakening, than the average Darkspawn to me.

I would honestly prefer that to Anders.Renard the Bard wrote...

Think of the possibilities. You could use his special skills to force other darkspawn to help you out.
Then again, I would perfer any other character in the whole DA series to Anders.

1. If you let him go( and do not attack him in the quest of Jowan's intention), he will be protecting a crowd of refugees. According to the information in the game, many fled to the Free Marches for safety from the Blight. Could it be possible that he guided the refugees he protected to the Free Marches and met the Hawke?
2. While minor characters like Cullen and even the Messenger have endings of their own, this guy , who plays quite a role both in the Mage origin and in the story, strangely does not. A not so sound justification for this is that his story is not yet ended.
3. He was originally planned to be a full member of the party. Perhaps this unfulfilled plan finally gets carried out in DA2.
Yes I know he can get killed a lot in DAO. But isn't everyone so?( except the DLC champions and Morrigan). Also, even if you send him back to the Circle, you cannot find him there or hear a word about him after, and again, no ending slide mentions about him( maybe he escaped in the midway?) . This is odd, if not an indication of the developers' forgetfulness of him.

I actually believe it'll be the Archdemon. He has a story and he hasn't been featured in any DLCs or expansions. He is the silent, murdering type we all know we want in our party. Admit it: you always wanted to have him as a replacement for Barkspawn.
You think the party member from Origins that'll return is going to be the Archdemon? When was he ever playable?
Or were you making an attempt at humour?

Now, I don't know which face PC or PS3 users get, but he definitely has the more "generic" model on my 360.
My point is that the sculpted face looks a lot more like the guy in question than the unsculpted one. To me, at least.

That and if you got his approval to 100 in Awakening, it said love if you were playing as a Male warden.xyzmkrysvr wrote...
What is this wrote...
Anders was very clearly Hetero in Awakening
Sorry
Really?? Because in my game he squealed like a little girl when I gave him a kitten and named it Ser Pounce A Lot. I don't know many "very clearly hetero" guys that get *that* excited about a kitten...
Anyway, I know a couple guys who, when you first meet them, seem to be "very clearly hetero"... but they're not.
Yes yes, I appreciate that it's probably a bug. Seriously though, he had a very bisexual vibe IMHO. I mean, that robe...
---
Also, if we're going along the "it's not going to be someone that can die in awakenings" path, I would just like to point out that it is possible for Anders to die too.
---
By the way, even though he was never a party member, it's blatently Sandal.
We all know he can take care of himself (if you played the Captured! quest in Origins).
And it'd be economical to have him as a throwaway bonus character as he only ever has something like two lines. "Hello" and "Enchantment" so no more voice acting required. You can't argue with the Logic.
