[Joy Divison]

Lots of love for Anders I see. I only played Awakenings twice but didn't think any of the characters were compelling as the Origins ones. Except for Howe. First time I killed him. Second time I let him go and let's just say was pleasantly surprised. I'd prefer one of the Origins characters, but won't they be too powerful (i.e. all 20+ level) during Hawke's story. With the Awakenings crew, they could easily put one in during the beginning of Hawke's story before they meet the Warden in Awakenings, right?

I was very proud in the end, because five of my party members (except Justice) remained with the Wardens. How could they simply leave? They are the GREY WARDENS, "they carry the duty that cannot be forsworn". How could they abandon their brothers?

Ask Alistair. Maybe they were not allowed to kill someone they really really wanted to kill.

The Warden Commander could have sent them to the Free Marches for a mission, I suppose. Or they could have requested some leave time to take care of something personal. Maybe Nathaniel has some unfinished business in the Free Marches?

After that any number of circumstances could lead them to join forces, at least temporarily, with Hawke.

If a Dev said a returning character is from Origins why are we all guessing awakening choices?



My inner dwarf says its a returning favorite. (If cameo)



If they are returning as a party member I would vote for Sten/Shale/Ali but it won't happen.



Nathaniel was already strongly hinted would be seen at least no mention of as a party member of course and my inner dwarf is cruel so he will not be a romance option even if he does return because he doesn't "chase skirts".

True true,Although Oghren can die (Although it's very hard to do)
I guess you have a point with Oghren but we still need a 2nd mage for the party and according to the Tshirts we only have 7 companions total.

I don't think they bring back Oghren. For various reason of which one is that I am gonna be pissed. In Awakenings I was like 'oh please not' already and if he farts one more time around me I am gonna turn him into mabari food.

I think it is Wynne and here is why:



On the map Cumberland, the site of the mage college meeting, is not far from Kirkwall and Wynne is attending this meeting. Sure she could die, but that spirit could somehow bring her back from the brink (it already did once.)

Not really a fan of Wynne either but I have to agree that there is nothing substantial to say she cannot live another 10 years. Even if everyone including herself doubt it. I mean she is sort of possessed by a spirit which is usually supposed to be immortal and could bring her back from the brink of death more than once.
