Let's get this straight before I get misunderstood: I'm not screwing the main campaign or specifically trying to.
It has come to my attention that many of the resources/files for the main campaign (such as .dlg) are not in the core resources or easily available. My question: Is it possible to view/edit these files? If so, how? (I'd also like to know where these files are.)
PS: I have already found the binary versions of files in the .rim and .erf files in the data folder, but these open as .gff files in the toolset. (I don't speak Binary.)

No, we cant access those files, unless someone finds a way to reverse engineer them, or Bioware decides to give us the whole non-compiled campaign.

Well, certain files are probably easier to reverse engineer than others. But now that they use indices instead of (more descriptive) labels in GFF v4, I'm not so sure how easy that will be in general, or where to pull the description out of the game or tool that uses it.
I don't know about the DLG files in Dragon Age and how much they've changed (a lot I'm sure), but the DLG files in NWN2 were pretty straightforward. Again, using indices instead of labels, I don't know how useful an application like "TlkEdit" (for those who know it, theoretically updated for GFF v4) would be in getting an overview of the file, but all hope might not be lost.
Anyway, GFF stands for "generic file format" and can be taken pretty much to mean "a BioWare file". Without more information, that doesn't tell you what's in it (but the file header should). I'm used to seeing GFF files with different extensions to tell you what it actually contains - maybe Dragon Age uses the GFF extension more than I'm used to, or maybe something else is going on.
Edit: that doesn't help you get it into the toolset any easier, but I wonder if even DLG files are now processed in such a way that the toolset doesn't read them back in. I'd have thought it should at least be able to read those, but I still have to get used to the DA way of things.
