Alright guys and gals, here's the rundown. I beat Mass Effect and used the transfer utility port into Mass Effect 2. In Mass Effect 2, despite completing all loyalty missions and the like and upgrading everything, I still lost Garrus, Grunt and Jack in the Omega 4. I need Garrus for 3, so going another full round. If I import my character from ME1 again, will this effect my previously saved game?

No, you can import ME1 saves as much as you like. The game will read them as two different saves when you load them, don't worry.
