Here is mine. I sort of went for a mass effect-feel for my dwarf. I think he turned out really great.

Dern & Balgin worked out okay. I haven't uploaded any decent portrait screenshots for them yet. As for Helga, I don't noamyl dig ginger characters but for her it kind of works. I'm not quite happy with her yet and she's likely to get a few minor tweaks before being played.

Posted Image

But she's not just a pretty face. She's obviously been to the Roger Moore school of acting since she can raise one eyebrow!

Posted Image

I like this one. It looks like she's trying to look innocent after some mischievous prank (or daydreaming, I can't quite decide).

Posted Image

Here she is saying something. She looks a bit disappointed with someone (perhaps the same person's asking for help again).

Posted Image

This one looks alert, like she's just noticed something, although there seems to be a slight sense of trepidation as if she's not comfortable with her discovery.
Posted Image

And this one's my personal favourite. It loks like she's admonishing someone for some foul misdemeanour. "Oooh no you didn't just..."

I've gotta admit, I was turned on by that gang boss dwarf in orzgrazmars, or however you dwarves pronounce it.

I was trying to make her look like my idea of a dwarf commoner, that she might not have got to have a full 3 meals every day of her life, yet still have some cuteness in her.

Like this presentation better?

I think it's the combination of hollow cheeks and broad cheekbones, combined with a pointy chin, that give her face a rather triangular look. She also seems to be suffering from BESm syndrome and I'm not a manga fan myself.

Out of interest, how are you people posting portraits directly into the thread like that? I don't know how to do that yet.

Once upon a time, I made a beardless Dwarf Noble that did not look like an overgrown baby with a stubble. Sadly, I deleted him.

This is the best I could come up with. All my other Dwarves were major fail,so I deleted them :3

This is my first (and final) attempt at a Dwarf. Ended up being my main character as I fell in love with him from the very start (I must say I'm highly impressed with the Dwarf Noble origin).

I think he came out looking pretty darn good especially with the shiny armor and such.

I like the way my Dwarf Commoner face came out, but I quit playing him because I couldn't stand how he looks running in game.

Here's how I do it: Go to the 'reply' page, then go to Profile - Full Profile, & right-click it, then select to 'open in a new tab/window' so ya can navigate to a link & keep the reply window at the same time.

In the Full Profile page, navigate to Games - DA:O PC. You should find a list of characters for your game there that are uploaded. Go into the character page of your choice. Now right-click either the full character pic, or your character portrait pic, then click 'Properties'. In the next window, one of the pieces of info will look like a web address. Highlight that entire 'address' & push Ctrl + C (keyboard shortcut for Copy)

Now go to the Reply window, go into the text field & type (Replace '>' with '[' & replace '<' with ']') >img< (no space) then Paste the link (no space) >/img<, then post! Posted Image
Practice this a bit, then ya can practice pic posting with text. Posted Image

Hope I helped! (& was eloquent enough.)

(P.S. I'm starting to wonder if Elocyn is gonna have to be tweaked after all...)

Thanks Tyrax. I haven't got the game yet (it's still in the post and I'm still mucking about with the character creator for now although I did make a magician who bore a disturbing resemblance to Clint Eastwood by mistake - I might end up using him to see how hard he can be).

For Elocyn if you could adjust the cheekbones ever so slightly (less wide) or broaden the jaw a little it would probably be okay. She doesn't need major tweaking.

I've lost my ability to Upload Info from the CC. Posted Image It's never managing to connect to the DA server anymore even though i'm logged in. I take it i'm now outta luck at tweaking characters now. Posted Image

I might be buggered till I can get the game now, & I wasn't done pre-tweaking & making characters in preparation for getting the game eventually. Posted Image
