Originaly, when mass effect 2 was coming out. I had accidently gotten
rid of my file. I beat the game again, but magicly, my old file
re-aperaed as an option to import to ME2.

Well the same situation has happend again. I tried to start a new file, and now my old file (the file I WANTED) is gone.

Does any one think ME3 will do the same thing ME2 did and bring it from the dead.

Did you check your saves location. Also did you try to load a career.
