I wish I didn't have to kill Jentha. She's the nicest merc I've ever met.
This. Setting her on fire and letting Grunt have his way with her made me a sad panda.
Also blowing up Pyjaks on Tchunka. Bless you for giving me that discount, you silly cannon-fodder you.

Yeah, the fight against Jentha; what apparently innocuous setup led to this confrontation
made the whole thing very well inspired.
She's about the only one that I caught myself wishing I didn't have to kill.

I also feel the same about some of the characters you could have killed on the suicide mission. I also bet some of the best ones won't be returning in big parts in ME3 because they could have pegged it.
I also wish Nihlus hadn't died.
Am I the only person who really didn't like Vasir?

Seconded. Was not until my third playthrough that i discovered that you can get Kelly to feed them for you and thus save the poor little things form starvation death...

Fai Dan - I feel genuinely sorry for the guy, and I thought he was incredibly brave in committing suicide in order finally free himself from Thorian control. It always irritates me that Shepard stands there and does nothing, though. She has the gas grenades! Use them!
Tela Vasir - She may have done some truly terrible things, but I think she was simply misguided. She allied herself with the Shadow Broker for the right reasons, and did genuinely wish to save lives, but her methods were wrong. I don't think she deserved death.

Samara's description of him made him sound like a badass.

Saren - such a good villain. I understand he had to die, but the collectors are a weak replacement.
Everyone else I feel like they either had it coming or I just don't care.

Anyone who didn't feel sorry for it when Harbinger abandoned it has no soul. It just made want to pick it up and give it a hug.

I think it had something to do with him wanting to exploit Grunt for PR purposes, thinking he was an unholy abomination of science, and then trying to kill him when Grunt declined his crappy offer. Oh, and also, Grunt being krogan. PURE krogan. You should be in awe.
