While I very very much appreciate CEP and such and as has been written over on the CEP Forums; many of us are wondering what is going on with the Updater and more specifically if Acaos is still around and even more specfically if we can help facilliate an update as I think it has been close to six months since we have heard anything postive or negative or even luke warm.

So point blank;

1/ Is Acaos back and doing the updater? (Anyone from Higher Ground know the answer to this?)

2/ Is Barry still around from CEP as though only major guy I have seen of late has been 420...who called me Guile so I decided to throw sticks and rocks at him for the foreseeable future.<_<

3/ Most importantly if any of these are No's is there anything we can help do to get what I think from what I was told awhile back was a large truckload of content ready just not packaged yet? Anything at all?

Please do not see this as slamming or nagging just a few of us have put aside some things as we were under the impression that the Updater or what not was going to be humming soon. Remember this is your Community and we will help guys and gals in anyway we can just tell us how or what to do.

1) Acaos is still around, but has been so busy of late that he hasn't been working on HG.
2) Wow, he called you Guile? Harsh toke, dude.
3) I have no idea. We have an updater that we use with HG, though, which you're welcome to use - it is configurable to not use our custom content. You can find it here:

It was written by Bhao, not Acaos, but it rocks just as thoroughly. It even has a setup to replace glitched GoG content.

Barry told me that he is waiting on Acaos to add content he submitted to the updater before he contributes any further. I sent an email to Acaos a week ago but have not received a reply. I have been the only one to attend meetings in the last three months, but not very often as the holidays have me traveling all over the place.

I suspect that things will start to roll again once the holidays are over. I mean, I've been run ragged and I don't even have children, it's gotta be ten times worse with rug rats.

I still giggle, chuckle and rofl at someone being called Guile. I wonder if the term Guile has been added to the urban dictionary yet.

CEP has updated to 2.4, though you are cautioned not to use the updater. Just thought I'd post here for those who don't check the CEP's forums.
