Eh, ill romance everyone who can be romanced at least once. LIs are just opportunities for more character development and every companion deserves at least one shot IMO. The best is when you get 2 romances goin at once and then the 2 of them get in your face and force you to choose; SO much fun!

Only one romance option for my hawke: This is my axe there are many like it but this one is my own, her name is woundwolf and she enjoys long walks through dungeons, the company of internal organs and bathing in blood followed by an oil rubdown. Will approach aveline suggesting a menage a trois though, just got to figure out a way of not making it sound threatening.

Well lets compare some games shall we:

Fallout 3 vs Fallout New Vegas - FNV has Felicia Day NPC, so this game is pure win ... F3 has nothing worth mentioning
Baldurs Gate 1 vs Baldurs Gate 2 - Same story, Second BG has 4 LI, second BG is better in all ways
Kotor 1 vs Kotor 2 - I dont remember any LI worth mentioning (Bastila? meh) vs. Visa (and other LI) ... oh yea Kotor 2 is better
Drakensang, Sacred, Dungeon Siege, ... (games without cute, hot LIs / party members) vs Planescape: Torment, The Witcher, Alpha Protocol - oh yea Fall from Grace, Scarlet, Triss ...

Or lets take a look at Heavy Rain, Valkyria Chronicles, God of War 3, Final Fantasy 13, Borderlands, Dantes Inferno, Uncharted 3 - all these games have a cute and/or hot party members / LI / important NPC and yea these games are awesome ...

I don´t think it will be Hawke dying as the only possible ending, but if BW follows their claim to switch PCs each game, it would be the easiest way to do it.
The posibility reminds me of the hint Leliana kills herself to join the US Warden. Which wouldn´t work as the US also destroys the Warden´s soul.

That didn't answer my question. I asked for evidence, not opinion. Where are all the sales figures to support your claims?

Well, I didn't mean to imply that, but I see how I could have been misunderstood that way. I should say, I find myself wondering if there will be an ending where the hero dies, not unlike the Ultimate Sacrifice in DAO.

no i dont have any evidence ... its just my humble opinion ... and im pretty sure there is no way to prove or disprove it =) but if you wanna find evidence that any RPG game with cute/hot girls will sale worse then the same game without them ... go ahead

I don't know about that. ME2 had only two standardly beautiful attractive LI, the rest were aliens or didn't fit the definition of universal beauty booty.

Let's not forget Harvest Moon, the beginning of LI business. They are all short tiny sprites and stuff.

It´s likely if Hawke isn´t DA3 main character. I hope it is well written. US has many fans, but I felt much better doing the DR and thus telling the Maker, fate or whatever I wouldn´t pay such price for ending the Blight. The whole world is still paying for the arrogance of a group of Tevinters.

If we're faced with a choice where Hawke can die at the end i'm going to pissed. Why can't my character do the work and change the world, and actually live to see them? Let me get my title, get my lady (or have my lady take me if its Aveline), and find some cozy place to live the rest of my days until the time comes where I am needed again (DA3).



Actually, please tell me if there is an event like that so I can spare myself the time of getting attached to my Hawke.

If I have an evil mage playthough than I'd go for Aveline. I'd kill her husband than get with her then I'd break it off with her right after and tell her that she's an insult to her husband's memory lol
