THere's also the screenshot which is supposibly spos to have the full crew and Isabella and Aveline are the only two non family females in the shot.

David Gaider confirmed that not all of the characters in that screenshot are companions.

There were three or four generic guards in the screen shot, of course we don''t get them as companions.

Have they confirmed that all of the companions are present then?

To begin with, it lacks Carver, who would be a companion if Bethany is.

For my Hawke to romance Aveline, she'd have to express an interest, presumably long after her husbands death, so it would really be up to her.



I can't see romancing Isabella, myself.



Thing is, at this point, I'm not seeing any male characters that I feel inspired to romance, either. Perhaps my Hawke just won't be that interested.

I can see my femHawke romancing Isabela. A fun loving, independent women, yup, definitely the gal for my Hawke. Even if I don't end up romancing her I definitely see her being drinking buds along with Varric.

I can't see my Hawke getting along that well with Aveline.

I hope the companions who haven't been reveled yet (if they are LI's)  will be more interesting. Scantily-clad easy to get cliché pirate ninja Isabela & clichè hardarse fighter Aveline seem to be utterly bo*yawns*ring standard RPG characters .
I know fantasy games have to be full of clichés, but IMO its a bit too much in the DA2 character department. Some out-of-the-box-thinking wouldn't hurt.

I hope for an original unexpected and surprising character.

I definitely think there's another awesome female companion they're keeping tightly under wraps (I'm going to guess she's an elf, too, simply because we've got two human girls already, and because it looks like the devs were thinking about having a female elf companion based on the concept art in the "Making of..." video). Anyone else hoping that EA releases an epic CGI ad featuring all the companions we haven't seen yet to air during the Superbowl?

Anyways, back on topic:
If I play as a male Hawke and had to pick Isabela or Aveline... I think I'd go with Isabela because she just seems fun to be around. If Aveline really is an LI I imagine I wouldn't like romancing her until it had been some time since her husband's death (I always hated the notion of PC/Jaheira, and not just because she was a grieving widow but also because she was almost like... your mom ).

I didn't like Isabella in Origins so I'm guessing I'll end up with Aveline.

I think there will be more women than just Aveline and Isabela. But if I had to choose, I'd probably go with Aveline, because I prefer long-lasting romances, rather than just flings, which is how I see Isabela.

The female elf in the making of video is rumored to be the preorder companion, so probaly nota romance.

Morrigan was only a B if you were a goody two shoes and Wynne was only a nag if you were evil, i don't know how you pissed both of them off. But that's despite the point because Sigrun has the most Bland Morality of any companion she's just good nothing more to it. Atleast i didn't know what Morrigan or Wynne were going to say before they said it.
