Here's the thing; I was on Xbox Live this morning, and it seems there is to be a Countdown to New Years with sales on select DLC for the next 11 days.  Today there is a sale on Red Dead Redemption DLC, and clues for sales taking place for the remaining 10 days.

And the clue for Day 4 obviously points toward a sale on Mass Effect 2 DLC. I think that's next Tuesday, a week from now. Go see for yourself, check the Xbox Dashboard. Maybe 50% off Lair of the Shadow Broker? I don't have that piece of DLC yet (I was waiting for Halo:Reach when it came out). Maybe I can finally get it next week. So... thoughts?
