Hello you all \\o

First I already know what to do to gain Paragon/Renegade points. I also know the actions that may be taken during conversation between the characteres and so on. I explore a lot of places to gain more score, money, resources and Paragon/Renegade points. But it seems it's not being enough to complete one, maybe because I made a mistake choosing to follow one during the whole gameplay and took the other way options during the conversation. But I need some more detailed guide to earn Paragon/Renegade, some special tricks and a help to find out my mistakes to achieve the Paragon/Renegade, because I really want to fully do one of them!

Please some help could come in hand, and you may gain some Paragon points Image IPB. I think some good answers would be good to other players with the same problem. Thanks.

It's quite easy, just always select the nice respond (or blue conversation option whenever available) if you wannabe the Paragon; be mean (red answers) for Renegade. This should enable all Par/Ren options (don't forget your passive power - it'll give a huge bonus (70-100% @ rank 4).

It's possible (using lvl 60 ME1 import) to get all (par and ren) options in a single playthrough btw.

Sure, i do all you mentioned. But even I did not completed one of them yet. I almost have done the Paragon. I also trained my passive power and i don't have ME1 yet (rs) ... but I'll see if this time I can finish the Ren. Hope this time works. Sounds I'll have to try again till I can do that, and this topic may be closed; Image IPB

Here's a complete Morality Guide:

BTW, what class is your character and which passive did you unlock please?  I found that the only way to get the Paragon or Renegade bar fully charged was to choose whichever passive that gave +100% bonus (rather than +70%).

the DLC packs does help make it easier to get full paragon without using the +100% bonus

Hmmm now I saw an error I was used to make. Looks like now I will almost finish the Paragon, enough to unblock some conversations when, for exemple, Jack and Miranda fight or Legion and Tali.

@Zombie Chow: is the second option when you reach the 4th level of the combat mastery. I choose it. Now I'm playing again with Soldier class.

@TomY90: can you tell more about these DLC packs?

If you stick to pure paragon, even with a default ME2 Shep you should be able to get to about 50% paragon by time of doing Miranda's loyalty mission if you do that straight after Horizon. Then do Jack's straight after that and you'll be able to settle their argument. Keep sticking with paragon after that and you should be able to resolve the Tali/Legion fight as well.

As for the DLC packs am going to assume he means Kasumi, Zaeed, Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker as there are paragon/renegade choices in those.
Edit: I know the last time I played a paragon default ME2 shep I was able to get them to 100% and that was without them even playing the latter 2 DLCs

The amount of paragon/renegade points is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the ratio of achieved paragon points versus possible paragon points in all of your previous interactions (or renegade over renegade).

This post sheds some light on the subject...

As for going "full" paragon or renegade, my suggestion would be not to worry about it and play Shepard how you want. The choice is yours, but renegade is the correct one.

If you imported a ME 1 character for your playthrough it doesn't much matter how much paragon/renegade you decide to roll with. Contrary to what some others have said, I've managed to have Paragades and Renegons both be able to decide either option on practically EVERY decision in the game.

@Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien: hmm I'll try it. I done different this time. I left Miranda's mission at last, just before the Reaper IFF mission, to get the more I could of Paragon, but still I couldn't unlock the conversation. And thanks by telling me about DLC, but I got some today, before I had explanation about them. Just didn't know they're called "DLC" :P

It's been hard to take a print and I don't wanna make a video, but I have between 75% and 100% of Paragon and didn't make it. It must be 85% or so. When i go speak with Jack to see if the blue option is unlocked, it's still locked. :( After reading the topic Cerberus Ooperative AW linked some posts above, I understood why and will try not to commit the same mistake again.

@COAW: yap doesn't matter what is better, paragon or renegade. I played trying to reach both with different careers.

@sinosleep: i don't have ME1 =\\\\\\\\ . Paragades and Renegons? :P curiosly in the first time I played ME2 I didn't know much about Par/ren and did every action I could. When Tali and Legion fought, for the first time I played, I could do the Paragon option.

Thanks for all replies, they helped, excpet yours sinosleep! Hehe only if you get me a ME1 copy, so your reply will help a lot ;) . I will walkthrough the forum to see more tips about Par/Ren.

EDIT: just to mention, in my current career (and gameplay, sure) I reached something about 82% to 89%, don't know precisely, ,of Paragon and less than 25% of Renegade.
