This page is for fans of the Salarians. The Salarians, while short lived, are extremely intelligent, funny, highly energized aliens of the Mass Effect universe. One of the original members of the Citadel Council, Salarians are always active, and it is always believed they know more than they are letting on. Their non-linear thinking enables them to create brilliant ideas and generate excellent espionage tactics.

This page encourages high levels of intellectual analysis, argumentation and ideas, and is not strictly limited to Salarians as a whole, but their interaction with other species, their military and combat skills and their role in galactic society. Also permitted is the specific discussion of specific Salarians characters.

A Salarian of particular prowess and intellect is Mordin Solus. Member of Commander Shepard's squad in Mass Effect 2, Mordin was able to not only help Shepard study and upgrade his tech for combat, but also formulated the repellent to the Collector Seeker Swarms, thus enabling any attack or defense of the Collectors possible. Mordin Solus also saved thousands upon thousands of lives on Omega from a Collector virus.
