Hey! I need some help with the following issue. I bought the Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition. On it says, includes all 7 downloadable content packs plus Awakening expansion. So... i installed the game, registered the code for the extra content, the game too. So far so good, logged in in-game, authorized the extra-content, started a new game. When I wanted to load the game though, being logged in, it said i don't have them authorized and someone with the extra content should log in if i want to play the following content.... When I logged out, i could load the game.. 
So basically, it says, the account on which I registered the games does not have them authorized, which is not true. So I would appreciate any help that could solve my problem.

Same problem here, and I'm patched up to current, too. Make sure your patch info says 1.04 just in case but, even if it is, that may not fix it. Be aware: playing offline is not a god fix, as it'll cause problems down the road. I can't import some of my equipment/abilities into Awakening, and can't DL the recent Witch Hunt DLC because it doesn't recognize my profile info. ( and yes, I know i'm logging into the correct account.) This game has had too many of these such problems.

I can't even load in my games because they supposedly have "unauthorized" promo dlc's. There goes my 100+ hours. Not willing to restart either. I might just go read wikipedia to spoil it for me and make me feel like I beat Awakening...

did you guys have to download the dlc stuff through the game, or did the disk you go do it? if it did then you might want to make sure your firewall isn't blocking dragon age. if its blocked it might still let you log in, but still act pissy.

Same problem and I even updated to 1.04 again and it still says all my DLC is unauthorized. All my DLC is updated and downloaded from in the game

I just followed the advice on the help page of Dragon Age and it just worked (I'd already played it once before, so I KNEW I had all the DLC authorized and everything).

1. Make sure you've closed the game. Go to My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings.
2. Open the Addins.xml file and open it with Word Pad, Notepad, or XML editor.
3. Make a copy of the original file as a back-up just in case
4. Return to original Addins.xml file and change all the entries that say RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".
5. DON'T change anything else!
6. Save and run the game again.

That worked perfectly for me, I resumed the game, and all the things unlocked and showed up as new quests. Hope that helps!

im gonna go ahead and remove the authroization need sense the content is already entitaled to my account and it wont let me acsess it due to a bug in the updater i tryed updating it didnt work i tryed reinstalling it didnt work trying deleting and resetting files didnt work sense im entitled to the content im just gonna do your suggestion

my avatar isnt updating anyways avatars should update no matter what you do to your game

i paid 40$ for DA ultimate Edition no way in hell am i gonna pay another 40$ for the same dlc im entitled to hopefully in patch 1.0.6 will fix this issue permenantly it really cheeses me off that i cant acsess my dlc officially because of some damn update bug.

I paid it too, wanna replay it before DA2, played Liliana, Avanguard, started Awakening and don`t see content from Liliana Hope it`s because servers errors, and I`ll find it later

same here planning on getting dragon age 2 my self and i wanna beat origins all the 100% through dlc and everything

cant say i can relate to the missing content though anyways back to topic im sure if you do chan_chans suggestion it will work perfectly but youll mostlikly loose your profile benefets but if your entitled to your dlc anyways it should be ok so until the next patch resolves this issue permanently youll just have to make due without the profile benefets or not play at all it is with high hopes that bioware will permanently resolve this issue with the next patch with all of these post saying the same or similar thing.

thanks chan_chan worked like a cham i recommend you use wordpad not notepad it simplifies it

Do you installed patch 1.04 on your Ultimate version?
