From what I can tell, all the bugs and glitches have been fixed. Female eyebrows work, there were two or three things that weren't there in the PC version, shadows and faces look much better. Graphics look a bit better also.

You play Lazarus Station and Mordins recruitment, and you also get a brief summary of Mass Effect 1, narrated (with new dialogue) by the Illusive Man.

Frame rates seem better, certain graphical effects look like they were done differently then the 360 version and are arguably better looking. Faces and certain textures look better. FMV looks cleaner and less compressed. Overall very impressive, nice to see that Bioware took bringing the game to the ps3 seriously and didn't just dial in a sloppy port. I don't know if i really want to buy the game all over again thought...

I noticed some sound issues in Mordins recruitment. I don't know if it's just me or others experianced it too. Hopefully it's just one of those 'demo things'

Hope what the BW team learned when adapting ME2 into the PS3 will help to make for a better presentation of ME3.

Yeah, I got a little bit of that too.  I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest as I'm sure it will run smooth in the final copy.

Overall I really enjoyed the demo, and yes, you can tell that things look a bit different.  Things really look good and I too am glad that they gave the PS3 the proper love that it deserved.

It is just one of those "demo" things. Bioware's not stupid enough to release a full game with those kinds of issues. At least, I would hope not. :P

Nah, they don't release games with severe issues.  They patch the issues into the game. *coughDragonAgeOriginsPatch1.03cough*

has anyone not seen the X360 and PS3 comparisons?

after reading the news that they used the "improved" ME3 graphics engine on the PS3 version of ME2, i was hopeful.

now, i shudder to think what the game would have looked like if they used the same engine - unless they completely lied about using the new engine altogether.

this only solidifies my opinion that the devs at bioware are incompetent and really, really bad at their jobs. they should be ashamed to be releasing this garbage on the PS3, knowing that first-party title from 3 years ago blows this nonsense out of the water.

i will be passing on all bioware games from now on.... i was really hoping it would be different this time.

Their 2nd game for PS3 looks slightly worse than the 360 version (IMO). I don't see how they are failing at their jobs.

Is it me or the graphics are quite dark? Shadows on characters and some corners are too dark, blue lights are too intense and annoying?

(Btw I've changed some game settings to see if I could improve things
Also, the issues mentionned were not encountered in other games)

I hope I can fix these things because when I played on my friend's pc everything was fine... now I'm worried I won't experience it to the full quality it is ''supposed'' to be on the PS3

So if you have any advice (Tv or game tuning) or if it is the case/ not the case with your demo, just let me know

Just create a US account it's easy that's what I did and now I have a US, EU, JP, and a local account.

As for the demo seeing the comparisons it's kinda sad that a lot of times Devs say this and that but and up not delivering on what they say at least that's what I'm currently assuming after seeing the comparisons. I mean I guess I was expecting this when they advertised that the PS3 was using the ME3 engine and the thought of it getting graphical updates.

I started distrusting developers a lot more than I did after Ubisoft and AC:Brotherhood when they said that the PS3 version is sometimes better than the 360 version but the end result showed that the PS3 version was still inferior.

So Ubisoft down, Bioware down (at least from the demo), Cliffy B and his comments on Bulletstorms PS3 version are next in line.

I never played a Demo version of ME and I will borrow my friend's PS3 today to see How mass effect is, do we can choose the class we want or is just one class? also, what lvl we start?

The game has gone gold so I think there's a big chance that if you encounter a bug in the demo, it will be in the final game.

Don't worry I have a friend in ortugal who is still awaiting the demo. But my advise just make a US account I mean you don't have to give legit information anyway.

So, Bioware extended the demo? I remember the PC Demo ending after the Lazarus Station. Not sure on the 360 Demo since I never downloaded it.

Did you create a new profile (not the account as in a new profile)? or are you using the same profile and tried logging in there?

Played the demo last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Have my copy on reserve and looking forward to playing it while awaiting DA2.
