I don't even get why you PC/360 get outta this I mean you have ME1 so why do you need this?

I played ME1 16 times, but I'll still download and enjoy the comic. I would like to see it, and hear Shepard narrate the events of ME1.

Elite Midget, as much as you don't like what has happened concerning the comic, how you feel is YOUR OPINION. It can't be proved or disproved. If you don't like it, there's nothing you, me, or any of us can do. Bioware thought it was the right decision to release the comic, and so they did.

You have to realize that Bioware not only accomodates fans of ME1, but those that started to enjoy the series starting with ME2. The games are very different from each other, and new ME2 fans may not be as thrilled about having to run through ME1 multiple times to get the choices they want in their playthroughs.

Personally, I'm happy about this comic b/c now I have something to add to my ME2 experience. Yes, I didn't buy ME1. But now, I don't have to spend the money I may or may not have to be on the same boat as everyone else. This comic is a good thing imho, and it gives us the same extras PS3 owners have.

So thank-you Bioware. Your hard work is appericiated in these hard times.

Fanboys don't understand this. They see the comic as an inferior product rather than a DIFFERENT new experience. A comic and a game are totally different media.

I already made the anology about how books are made into movies. The fanboys think whoever read the books shouldn't be allowed to watch the movie because they already have the 'superior' product. Any rational person knows this is complete BS and the fanboys are raging because they lost their bragging rights and ego and can't trash talk the other versions to form a sort of demented parity.

i don't see why theres arguing, it's coming out whether people like it or not.

personally i'd enjoy this because i don't want to beat mass effect 1 for the umpteenth time to have my mass effect 2 be different.

and also, does anyone know if we can choose if shepard is paragon/ renegade in the comic?

Umm, no. It doesn't take a fanboy to know that the comic is going to be inferior to ME1. Offshoots are always inferior to the source material.

I already made the anology about how books are made into movies. Right, that only proves the whole inferior/superior thing, but also validates your point. I love the Lord of the Rings, but sometimes I want to skip Tolkien's 40 pages of scenery fluff. That is where the movies come in. Bravo, sir.

Midget wants you to suffer because PS players don't get ME1. Go figure.

This. After playing through Mass2 I just can't stand Mass1's gameplay anymore, this way, I won't have to in order to change something for my Mass2 playthrough.

The Shining film was better than the book because it was nothing like the book

That's awesome. It might as well come out for all systems. I mean, I'm sure not every 360/Pc owner has played part 1 and might like this. I still wish us Ps3 user would get ME1 but the comic is fine. I guess a lot more people are going to get excited to see the comic too! I can't wait? Anyone else?

Man EA should have kept their mouths shut about the comic going to PC and 360 they would have gotten a few sales from people impatient.

I wish it was more extensive. 6 choices is a bit slim. I was honestly expecting more seeing as lots of ME1 side quests are referenced in ME2 even to the point of providing small missions.

There are undoubtedly some PC and 360 players who never played ME1. This is a plus for them. Personally I would have just preferred a checklist of all of the decisions made in ME1 for a quick start.

@ skilled seeker

i think one of the choices will be paragon path renegade path and the side quests would be flagged as finished in whichever manner you chose

I find myself in the awkward position of agreeing with ReconTeam on something.
Must be the holiday spirit.
But yes, I agree. I'd rather have a comprehensive list of scenarios with their corresponding possible outcomes than a poorly drawn storyboard.

Of course, since I'm one of those drones who actually like playing ME1, I'd never find any use for it.
But I prefer it in principle.

I'd dig it, but only if it came in vector graphics and that it looked like it was taking place on a screen within ME 2

Ah yes, "holiday spirit" we have dismissed this claim.

Didn't the in-house development version of ME2 have just such a checklist?
