The Shining film was better than the book because it was nothing like the book
I have never read the Shining, but I have read other King books and saw the movies that went along with them, and the movies were never better. Plus, there was Shelley Duvall's acting. Ewww.

Isnt it better to use Gibbed save editor instead of the interactive comic book? I mean, you get more choices and stuff.
The save editor is not officially supported by Bioware and they are on record as saying usage of the save game editor may cause problems with importing save games into Mass Effect 3. There is also the issue that whilst the save editor is relatively "easy" to use on the PC I understand it can be a right hassle to do it on the xbox 360.
Whilst there are only 6 decisions in the comic it would seem that these decisions are the most important ones and allow you to tailor ME 2 in such a way that the game doesn't suck (seriously the default decisions are beyond retarded).
At the end of the day the comic will allow everyone to jump into the Mass Effect universe from ME 2 and there really is no downside to everyone having it.

My canon Shep will always be the one I've played through ME1, so it will be nice to be able to play other characters through ME2 that aren't locked either into the standard super-renegade starting Shep of ME2 or just cosmetic/class alterations of my canon Shep (without having to play ME1 again unless I wish to do it for its own sake).

I think it's saving the Colonist and the asari on Feros.

There was a link a few pages ago claiming the Feros sequence isn't in the comic at all...

Indeed. This idea, however, may be a winner:Revenant_Mortalus wrote...

After all, one can be mostly paragon and still let the council die, or mostly renegade and still save them. And making a single choice in terms of path could allow the game to "impute" a number of other choices (like some of the ones that took place on Feros - the colony, Shiala, etc.).PetrySilva wrote...

Probably, like I stated before, if you followed the paragon or renegade path.

Probably, like I stated before, if you followed the paragon or renegade path.
Basically it would only be looking at 3 of the other choices (seeing as 2 of them have nothing to do with renegade/paragon). It isn't just going to say "Would you say you are Paragon or Renegade?" simply because it has to cater for people who won't have a clue what that is about. Can't see them basing it on the 3 choices either because as others have stated you don't have to be P/R to make them really.
Despite what an article has written about Feros, I have written a good idea of how it could be incorporated without it going into too much detail regarding the point the article made and still have the key choice from that (comes pretty much after you get the Cipher). Some may say she isn't important, but it is who you got the Cipher from. As for the colonists even if she isn't there, someone always turns up even if you took default route, it just changes details as to what they are doing now. I find it hard to believe they would skip the whole of Feros, as it gives people chance to realise what that person in Ilium is talking about. They could easily cut the content of it down though, just as I imagine they will for Noveria, first chunk of that mission is fairly irrelevant to the main story.
Course... there is another choice it could be... everyones favourite reporter

I am sure I had read one of the articles that talked about it mentioning that it takes place between the opening cut-scene and the character creation. There is one issue with that though in the the opening cut-scene is altered for an import playthrough depending on council choice. Miranda either mentions that humans achieved their place at the sacrifice of the original council or that humans achieved their place on the council. So unless the council choice isn't one of the decisions then surely the comic has to play out before the cut-scene? Actually I imagine it will, probably play similar to the demo... you click 'New Game' you select which sex your playing as, it then fires up into the comic (or maybe asks if you want to or not, if not you just go straight into game as normal), you then possibly get to select your background/profile and go through the comic making your choices and at the end it then fires up the game accounting for the decisions made.TS2Aggie wrote...
One would assume you get it in character creation for a new game, not NG+. However, I could be wrong.
NG+ would surely not go through the comic as you've already made the decisions, so that would be treated as a normal 'import'

meh. I play ME1, so completely uninterested.
I'd be totally meh about this too, if my first xbox hadn't exploded. The comic will be my backup plan.
Although I do wonder why Bioware is releasing this when they should just be encouraging the uninitiated to buy ME1. What happened to maximizing profits?

They couldn't make ME1 for PS3, that's what.

No I got that - I mean why release it for the PC and 360?
