I obviously say this because of the answer of Mr.Gaider towards the people that asked for a female elf romance, he said that he just didn´t want to write one (whatever his reasons). I wonder what homosexual people would call Mr.Gaider, if he now said: "you know what, i don´t feel like writing an homosexual character". I think he (and the game) would be branded as backward and other not so nice adjectives. There is clearly a double standard here in play.
As far as we know, David isn't writing a same-sex romance.
I agree, if Dragon Age 2 didn't have any same-sex romances, people who wanted them would complain. Many of us would suggest that BioWare 'chickened out.' I'm sure there would be comments about not wanting to scare Fox News and the idiot, homophobic XBox users. EA would be blamed for making BioWare a soulless corporation that is only interested in making a buck.
If David, Mary, Sheryl, and Lukus all hopped on and said that there was no same-sex romance for Dragon Age 2 because they didn't feel like any of the companions were gay or bisexual, or they didn't want to write a same-sex romance, they would be called liars
at best.
Some members of the LGBT community act like miserable snots because LGBT people have the misfortune of being human.
Yes, I have a totally different standard when it comes to same-sex romances and elf romances. Because, you know, elves don't exist.
I presume that the people who ask for elf romances are perfectly able to form romantic relationships with human beings. I doubt they've ever been harassed or called named because of their attraction to elves. They don't live in a society that still won't let them marry their elf girlfriend nor have they had to dive buy funerals where people hold up signs that say 'God Hates Elf-Lovers!'
It's fine if you and anyone else want an elf romance. You'll probably get one in the form of Fenris. Please don't compare an attraction to elves to my sexual orientation, however.

So i'm the only one who remembered Isabella was a bisexual in DA:O? why exactly did bioware need to confirm same sex relationships exactly? it's kinda a given with common sens...oh right, that's lacking here
I assume most of the happiness is for a m/m confirmation. After all, ME 1 and ME 2 had f/f but no m/m.
