How is this a waste of development time? Are you just against romances in general?
I would rather have content everyone else can enjoy.

Hence the virtual certainty that the party members will be bisexual and not homosexual. Of course, I support all party members being bisexual, for the same reason.ReconTeam wrote...

If bisexuality is a sign of shallowness in your mind, yes. Why it would be, I can't really fathom.ReconTeam wrote...

Despite that meaning somewhat shallower characters?
It isn't the game's fault you are uncomfortable with homosexuals.ReconTeam wrote...
I don't see why that aspect of the real world wouldn't carry over to Thedas. You've got what you wanted from Bioware and I fail to see how not wanting immersion breaking behavior from NPCs is such a crime.

Congrats to everyone that was looking forward to s/s romances! As a straight dude that values equality I support this.

But it'd be okay for a woman's health to do so? That's what you're saying, right?
That is the way the world works.
Only the love interests. Going by the last game, that'd be four people, somewhat less improbable. In any case, this is a fantasy world with different standards and possibly different levels of whatever factor regulates sexuality. And the entire story is wildly improbable.ReconTeam wrote...

I mean that designing all of their characters to be bisexual would be rather cheesy and unrealistic. You've got what, eight people in your party and all of them are bisexual? Very improbable.

So homosexual relationships being accepted pulls you out of thoughts of darkness altogether? I think you overestimate how much better that makes a world by just a tad.ReconTeam wrote...

I don't want Thedas to be the land of politically correct. What happened to dark fantasy?
Having homosexuality represented in any form of media makes it politically correct?ReconTeam wrote...

Well then, my condolences for having your dark fantasy world gayed up.ReconTeam wrote...

It seems cheesy and unrealistic to me, which conflicts with the general atmosphere.

And dark fantasy doesn't preclude homosexuality in any way.
And yaoi fangirls. And yuri fanboys. And bisexual everyone. And people who just want to play through the game in more diverse ways.ReconTeam wrote...

Having everybody be okay and supporting of it is politically correct. As is the whole addition of this content just to appeal to homosexuals.

True, I find it hard to resist the temptation to correct obviously flawed statements, but it only really serves to trash the thread.Xilizhra wrote...
