We had yours ages ago, but for some reason you kept on giving it. Ah well.

Because you kept asking about it, which is foolish when you talking with somebody as obsessive as myself.

Of course, I suspect that most of us, me included, feel that the majority of your indignation stems from your mysterious "other" reasons.

So homosexual relationships being accepted pulls you out of thoughts of darkness altogether? I think you overestimate how much better that makes a world by just a tad.

It seems cheesy and unrealistic to me, which conflicts with the general atmosphere.

Bisexually is totally unrealistic. I have bisexual friends and ex's, but I suspect they're all dragons.

Actually, that might explain a few things with some of the bisexuals I know...

Political and social commentary isn't allowed in the forums. And the only ones showing indignation seem to be everyone who gets so offended by my comments.

Possibly it's because we sense your real reasons. Also, you're not at all lacking in defensive self-righteousness yourself.

Ah, well, I for one am glad that games can be told from perspectives OTHER than heterosexual males, and that over the course of 10 years, no matter what your gender or your orientation, you will find some luvin.

I'm just hoping the sexytime scenes don't feature granny underwear.

Definitely the most pressing matter.

Absolutely.  Those underweartastic sexytimes in DAO were the most immersion breaking ever.  Who'd romance someone who actually wear that stuff under their clothing?  Or worse, like Morrigan, who put it on just for together time?

Completely unrealistic :(  I hope DA2 allows for pretty teddies at the very least.  And boxer briefs.  Definitely boxer briefs.

I found the female underwear quite a bit better than the male underwear to be honest. At least they weren't wearing thongs that seemed to be made of a pillowcase.

Oh ugh, man diapers and walmart 99 cent panty and bra sets. *sigh* I wish I were better at making banners -- I want one that says "I support boxer briefs and pretty teddies for DA2".

That was either a really bad troll post or just a really bad idea to post in the first place.

its the truth though, minorities talk **** then get ****ing stomped then complain.  that word homophobe is being used as careless as the word raciest

I'll be honest...I took one look at the title of the thread and thought this was about "straight shota." The shock-factor made me click and I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't heard about this yet...

Anyway! Stay classy, Bioware Social Network.

You don't ask somebody who may kick your ass a potentially offensive or rude quesiton. I don't see what is so offensive about that.

Asking someone if he's gay isn't an 'offensive or rude question'.

Unless you're asking an insecure male.

Please don't talk about people like they act the same way just because they're all gay or black or whatever. And yes, if I deslike the m/m LI I'll complain quite a bit.

Hitting on anyone walking on the street out of blue may net you a harsh reprisal, gender notwithstanding.

Just as examples.

So not wanting something makes me prejudiced and ignorant? Good to know. So what was the point of this topic exactly? Praise is only acceptable and if you don't like it your ignorant?

Not only self-righteousness, but disingenuous self-righteousness, considering the fact that your real reasons don't have much to do your argument.

I don't see why that aspect of the real world wouldn't carry over to Thedas. You've got what you wanted from Bioware and I fail to see how not wanting immersion breaking behavior from NPCs is such a crime.

Falsely framing homosexual content as some kind of crime against story structure.

Though if you want to stop talking since it's the next day, that's fine. I just didn't want you to think that my going to bed was my running out of responses.

Assuming something will be in the sequel just because it was in the first game is generally a recipe for heartbreak. Just ask all those folks who assumed there would be more than one origin story. We also saw this type of content disappear from ME2 when at least the f/f options were included in the first game. Yes, this is news. And I for one am very happy to see it continue into DA2. Thanks, devs!

It isn't the game's fault you are uncomfortable with homosexuals.

I don't want Thedas to be the land of politically correct. What happened to dark fantasy?

I tend to agree with you, but at the same time. I could care less. it's not an option I will explore, so no issue. like TV, if you don't like what's on? turn the channel. However I understand your overall point.

My reaction? I am glad it was added for people who wish to pursue it, and not swept under the carpet with a very poor excuse for a reason like what CHUD did on ME.
