First of all, I'd like to point out that the demo was very fun, smooth, and graphically amazing, however I thought PS3 owners were getting the better version graphically? I mean Take a look at these comparisons. If the Mass Effect 3 engine looks like that, then I'd rather stick with the original engine. <_<

Please tell me that this is an old build and the retail version is going to be better? :pinched:

The PS3 version only looks slightly better in some areas.

Not even close. I think Casey Hudson said they were putting the ME3 on PS3 just to make sales. It grinds my gears when I hear developers say things like this. "PS3 version is running on the ME3 engine" or "Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 is the definitive version." Honestly, why make such crap up?

Well PC always wins, but it's suppose to have the edge when it's compared to 360. Casey Hudson and Jesse Houston have some explaining to do:huh:

Public relations. Marketing. They want to sell the game, and they aren't going to sell many copies if they say it's exactly the same as the 360 version. Console wars, fanboys, does that ring a bell?

Truth is, both look good and there are just minor differences. 360 users don't have to feel shafted and PS3 users have another great looking game to play. :)

They have to do something after caving to whinners and giving the Comic to them even though they have ME1.

You are taking this discussion into a different thread? How pathetic.

Yes but why make such BS? They coulda just said that ME2 version is coming to PS3 along with all the DLC. Why state something so stupid like the ME3 engine is on PS3 and its going to look better?

Xbox version is way better. I don't know how it can be possible, the game is being released 1 year later.

Well, let's see: After a one-year gap, if ME2 still looks exactly as it was when it was first released, then something is definitely wrong with BioWare's development. It's only natural for the PS3 version to have something special about it. That's how technology works these days.

Probably because of all the lazy ports that are released on PS3 and vice versa. It makes BioWare look infinitely better if they show they are willing to put some effort into the PS3 version. And as BioWare hasn't released that many Playstation games (understatement of the year) they can use some good publicity for the Playstation crowd.

Tell me about it. It seems that the ME2 engine > ME3 engine

Well if you take a look at Dragon Age, it played much better on the PS3 graphically but with some fps drops. Still It sickens me that these quality devs are spewing out fase statements.

Almost every multiplatform game is going along this graphics quality pattern PC>360>PS3 so it is no surprise albeit Bioware saying otherwise...

I hope Bioware sticks to the ME2 engine. The PS3 version looks like crap and runs like crap too. PC rules supreme.

Truth. 360 is easier to program for and has better hardware over the PS3 in some areas.

That's up to the developers. Bioware managed to change that for Dragon Age. All of a sudden ME2 running on the ME3 engine and improved gameplay based from the user complaints and reviews? Very arrogant from developers :\\

If I am not wrong, DA on PS3 is better cause of blu-ray. There wasn't enough space in an DVD, so they had to take out some things, compress other things, etc.

Well regardless, this is blu-ray. There's no excuse on why Bioware did this to the PS3 fans
