First of all, I'd like to point out that the demo was very fun, smooth, and graphically amazing, however I thought PS3 owners were getting the better version graphically? I mean Take a look at these comparisons. If the Mass Effect 3 engine looks like that, then I'd rather stick with the original engine. <_<

http://www.gameblurb...hot-comparison/

Please tell me that this is an old build and the retail version is going to be better? :pinched:

I haven't played the PSN demo, so I can't say myself (own it on PC, so no need to buy it again). What I can say however is lens of truth is probably the biggest BS website out there when it comes to PS3/360 comparsion. And even though gameburb did the actual comparison here, just the fact that lensoftruth linked it automatically makes it BS. lol

Digital Foundry also has a comparison and looks like the Lens of Truth comparison. Why are they "BS"?

The first screenshot makes the 360 version look way better...but after that the differences are almost non existant.

The only thing you can say for sure about the PS3 is that the contrast or color saturation is higher or something...the colors just look different.

Really? I mean looking at almost most screens, it still looks inferior. From Miranda's wrinkles to everything else EVEN on the ME3 engine

Well expect that it'll look better. Bioware is just like Activision. Fooling their fans and sh*tty ports

PS3 version looks better, but Miranda is sexier on original platforms.

Was there even a thread with a comparison? If so, link?

And yes there should be another, especially how Bioware enjoys teasing and fooling their fans :|;)

First off this just the demo so I wouldn't be so quick to judge , 2nd Lens of truth are full of BS, finally stop with the PC/360/PS3 war it's bloody dumb all people do now is cry about how they have the best platform or how PC owns consoles or PS3 is better than 360 stop going on with the hardware and just play the bloody games.

Bioware devs are most likely not going to respond to my post because they have nothing to say. They'll most likely just lock this up

it would have been a different story if the developers didn't BS on what they've said for the PS3. Running better, Better graphics/more detail, etc. It''s just a whole new story now

In my opinion characters looks better on X360, while locations looks better on PS3. Miranda looks like Kayako from Ju-On on PS3!

Vigil, BS = Bullsh*t

and 360's version of miranda actually looks like a human, rather than sh*t on the PS3 version. STEP YOUR GAME UP BIOWARE.:pinched:

They're not! As I said in my previous post graphics are subjective. And when did Bioware say the PS3 version looks better? I only remember IGN saying so and IGN is full of BS.

Bioware's podcast, Jesse Houston, and Casey hudson, as well as on the PS blog by bioware devs.

Well again graphics are subjective. They believe the PS version looks better. Personally I see hardly any difference though the PC version is miles ahead of both naturally. Stop blowing things out of proportion.

Oh man I like this thread and hate it at the same time. Like it because I agree with how I hate being lied to by PR's, I mean a good PR can advertise his product without telling a lie but just not telling the whole truth.

I hate this thread because it reminds me of AC:Brotherhood. Ubisoft BS'd PS3 owners with the "we've learned from ACII and now the PS3 version is on par and sometimes better than the 360 version".

Time to see if Valve and Epic games can break the trend of broken promises. I'm not too sure about Valve their PC games are the best out there but something in me doubts that they'll be able to make a PS3 game on par with the 360. But I do have somewhat faith in Epic Games, sure they haven't done much on the PS3 but when UT:3 came out it showed that the Unreal Engine can work on Ps3 nicely...
