kite, kite, kite. I stay moving when fighting husks, but be careful not to get yourself backed into a corner. Shouldn't be too hard

Kill the Scions asap, be very aggressive about it (nuke the hell out, don't mind a few scratches), then after they are gone run around like a fool, spamming Incineration while performing quick backturns or pick them off one by one while cloaking.

Right at the start? That bit is one of the hardest in the game. Try running around right to the back. There are a couple of semi rings which you can vault over and switch between but the husks have to run right around. They also provide cover for the shockwaves. I wouldn't worry about your team, you will probably have to do that small bit yourself.

When the husks get close, pop on invisibility, give it some time, and let loose. The higher patio area(it will be on the west side when you get to that end part) is a good place to sort of set up camp. Like Cam said, kite kite kite, especially on the praetorian at the end. If you get caught again at a part in insanity mode, check online like at gamefaqs for tips. FYI, Once you get to harbinger, if you see him pop out a singularity, head out of cover, move in some other direction so it moves the black hole, then go back into cover. It makes surviving that a LOT easier...

For the first wave, the covered area to the left is good as well - just cover the two staircases, take out the husks. The Scions will climb the stairs if you give them time.

This. No need to kite, just camp there and you can finish off everyone. Its a great defensive position. I took Zaeed and Grunt and Zaeed sniped while Grunt shotgunned any who got too close.

Before you enter the final area and cue the cutscene, whip out your sniper rifle, get your cloak on and snipe the scions in the far distance. If you have the Widow which I'll presume you do as an Infiltrator, you can kill both of them before you walk through and start the fight. This makes the battle A LOT easier and you should be able to deal with the husks by staying mobile.

You don't have the Widow at this point of the game. Also your 'tip' is an exploit and I assume the OP wants to finish the fight fairly or they wouldn't be playing on Insanity in the first place.

now i'm getting worked by the harbringer.....why the **** is your squad AI so ****ing retarded in this game. i call them to follow me and they still go running around the ****ing place like idiots and the husks kill me when the harbinger uses his stupid ass black matter ball ****.

You don't. Unless there are console/cheat codes out there that let you get it early.

What's your weapon loadout, if you don't mind me (us) asking?

Like I said Tomsly, if he pops out the black hole of death, get out of cover and move either left or right to shift it out of the way. Head back into cover right after, and the problem's solved.

i got the widow, disrupter ammo at 3, squad cryo, heavy incinerate and heavy reave.



jacob: pull field, inferno ammo



garrus: heavy concussive shot, overload



i'll try strafing when he uses his black ball.

I usually rock with the Warp Ammo as my chosen power on combat focused classes, don't really like wasting CD for anything else than Invisibility Cloak, that thing really helps.
