Unfortunately you've kinda got the wrong squad with you. Use your cloak to get out of sticky situations and deal extra damage when you get the chance.

I'm having trouble fighting The human reaper larva.... when he is about 45% my squadmates dies by harbinger hands and I'm out of medi-gel :( They're so dumb sometimes....

Tell the reaper larva to go back to the marvel universe... er, I mean try to keep the aggro off of your squadmates but keep a good range from the enemies as well. Melee range harbinger on insanity is instant death :-(

First, if you don't have any medigel, or if you're out of thermal clips or powercells, you might want to consider just restarting the mission.  You'll spend just as much time trying to beat the final battle with no supplies then you will replaying the level and trying to conserve equipment better.

Second, you need to bring teammates that have warp and incinerate/inferno grenade.  All of the toughest enemies are heavy on armor, so you need a team that can take out armor quickly.

Stage 1
The Husks + Scions:

Prioritize targets thusly:
1.  Husks
2.  Scions

I kill that first husk that spawns on the little platform with a wall on the left side of the arena (when you first walk in.)  I then force my squadmates to take cover behind the wall.  I pause the action constantly ME1 style, and order them to shoot at the closest husks with the left/right arrows.  I spam incinerate/inferno grenade/warp.  Kill all the husks quickly, ignore the scions (if you're in cover when they fire, you're safe.)  Then, take out the scions, at your leisure.  If you find yourself overwhelmed by husks on the platform where your hiding, bust out your grenade launcher.  IMHO, your heavy weapons are better used saving yourself from Husk mobs then on the Praetorian later on.  THe Praetorian goes down pretty quickly from heavy pistol/sniper rifle fire and Incinerate/Warp/Inferno grenade.

If one squad mate goes down, and I'm doing OK, I'll try and save my medigel, since they'll be back up on their feet when you clear everything.

When everything is dead, run around and try and pick up any spare thermal clips that might be lying around.

Stage 2
Collectors + Husks

Prioritize targets thusly:
1.  Husks
2.  Non-Harbinger collectors, if Harb is far away.
3.  Harb, as soon as he gets close, or when he is the last thing alive.

Again, if my squad mates are down and I'm still doing ok, I hang onto my medigel.  If the **** hits the fan, i revive them to take some of the heat off of myself.

When everything is dead, run around and try and pick up any spare thermal clips that might be lying around.

Stage 3

Praetorian
[/b]

Duck into cover, fire when not being fired at, spam incinerate.

Edit: too late... oops.
Congrats anyway.

As a general rule, never bring Garrus against Collectors. The in game tips might recommend using Concussive Shot on Barriers, but you're better off with Miranda or Mordin at that point in the game.

Kill the Scions asap, be very aggressive about it (nuke the hell out, don't mind a few scratches), then after they are gone run around like a fool, spamming Incineration while performing quick backturns or pick them off one by one while cloaking.

exactly. I spent a long time trying to beat it with my infiltrator. Then I did this I finally got it. It will still probably take you a few tries though.

+1.  Mordin is good if you don't have Incinerate, but since you do, stick with Miranda.  Maybe Grunt for durability.

The avalanche absolutely destroys husks and is respectable vs the scions too, so use it extensively for the first wave. For the 2nd and 3rd waves, use cloak to move as far away from the collectors as you can and the husks will come to you first so you can engage them separately, don't try and take on both the husks and collectors at the same time. Last kite the harbinger around, stay well ahead, keep cover between you and it and avoid moving between cover until it stops firing.

the part with 2 scions and ****loads of husks I allways just run around the area, my team usually dies and I just ignore it, husks cant reach you if youre on the move all the time and kill husks by using special powers + shoot sometimes if youre far away from everyone else, when the collectors come I allways go on that little "balcony" on the left side, with 2 stairs and shoot from there, when the husks come behind you its not a problem, they die easilly and are clumsy as hell

The avalance is SPECTACULAR against closely grouped scions.

Skip to 8:00 minutes into this video and you'll see postively MURDER two scions in no time flat with the avalance since the spread is big enough to catch both of em.

Granted it took all my heavy weapon ammo, but who cares? Those two particular scions are two of the biggest pains in the ass in the entire game since at that point you have next to no upgrades and they genuinely seem to be stronger than your average scion. They take FOREVER to kill with standard weapons. So I suggest avalanche the scions, and then take a bonus power like slam or neural shock that has a nice short 3 second CD and even as a 1 point wonder will instankill husks once you get rid of their armor.

In that vid I had neural shock and the GPS, as an infiltrator I would just replace the gps with the carnifex and presto, you become a husk killing machine.

Most everything I use in that vid could easily be transferred to the infiltrator.

Yeah, I use that strategy on every class on that mission, that and the collector ship trap.

I did it as an infiltrator as well, with Grunt and Miranda as my squadmates. Grunt serves as really excellent crowd control for the husks, and unstable warp on Miranda let me de-armor several husks at once.

It was basically kite kite kite, do as much damage as possible with the predator, then put on invisibility to relocate to a new location. Avoid the scion shockwaves at all costs. I used the Avalanche a few times as well to get me out of a tight spot.

Left the Scions for last, making them fairly easy to take on.

Grunt and Miranda really are the best squadmates for Horizon.

This.

They've built a footpath around the level, so if you stay mobile you'll avoid the Scion's shockwave. Keep running around the footpath turning and shooting husks till they're all gone, then concentrate on the scions - works for every class and build. If you feel you've got enough time, use cover to regen some health but don't stay in it.

Let your squad die on the first wave, it's not worth the medigel. The next waves are straight forward enough.

If you're going to burn through all your heavy weapon ammo, you might as well use the Cain. It kills the scions AND all the husks in one shot.

I think sinosleep just went a bit crazy on that video.  I usually use up about 10 rounds  - I wait until the first set of husks get close to the scions then try to freeze all of them.  The husks die and the scions are both down quite a bit in their armor.  I just did this last night and I waited in the ramp where there is a health pack until they got close.

a bit late but here it is, there is a ramp/balcony to your left once you enter the final area of horizon. Head up there with your squaddies and voila, mission accomplished.
