Okay so I finally got off Taris, and I'm on Dantooine but Carth won't talk to me anymore.
I don't know if I effed up the romance option or what. I wasn't overly flirty on Taris, but I never shot him down or said anything mean either. Does that mess it up? All I get is "What do you know about this planet" or something like that.
I've only spoken to the council once though, I haven't spoken to them the second time. I really don't want to go back to an earlier save to try and fix the romance, I wish I could just re-trigger the dialogue to start over.
I still have Carth's journal entry active so his quest is still there.
I don't know, if anyone can tell me what to do or if I messed it up that would be great. I was trying to find a Carth romance guide to hep me out, but instead I accidentally spoiled a major plot point for myself so I'm kind of pissed right now, lol.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

After you have completed your training and been sent to the ancient ruins, then the romance will progress.

Carth is easy. Juhani is the tough nut. Her FF romance is notoriously difficult to trigger.

It's one of the more annoying aspects of the relationship development with Carth there are certain plot points and locations he refuses to talk about anything until you've finished a certain quest.

When in doubt, just talk to him after you level up, and more often than not, there will be more convo options

Go for Juhani . . . she's hawt. I love Raph's voice, but Carth is a bit . . . whiny. (Like, get over it dude, you are a badass soldier. No need for the self-pity think, k?)

Carth's romance was pretty bad. Coming off of Anomen in BG2 it felt like stepping into a black hole. 
It would have been easier to take if the balance between humorous flirtation and his going on about trust issues and family were evened out. As it was, I have only romanced him once or twice. Juhani was little better in my opinion. I like the character lots, but she had the whole creepy hero worship thing going. I never had the feeling that relationship was anything other than one-sided and doomed to failure. Still, it was more touching than Carth's at the end.
Why on Earth would you want to make Carth whine *more*? XD That's crazy talk! Seriously though, I usually avoided killing him. It made me feel like a jerkface.

I wish I'd realised Juhani was a potential romantic interest the first time I played the game. Because I was always rude to Carth and didn't fully explore her conversation trees, I didn't even realise BW games had romances until I played Jade Empire!

Juhani hates me when ever i trie to romance her she just blows me off so i end up being stuck with cry baby carth or air head bastila
